Staff was beyond friendly and selection has everything we needed. As out of Towner's visiting for the first time, glad to have this store for our grocery needs and good conversation and suggestions from the staff.

I don't know how you could mess up a grocery store lol, I mean like the workers work, the signs tell you where to go and you can go in and out getting your stuff without issue. Be careful though because as with any store Karen's are still a danger.

Being from out of state, we stopped in to do grocery shopping. Remember to sign up for their rewards program even if you are not from there. I saved $$$ on grocery bill! Employees were friendly.

It's important to shop at Safeway (IMO). That said, the store has gone downhill over the last few years (pandemic? Unhappy employees? Not enough employees?). And I really dislike the self checkout as the computer does not allow for "skip bagging" very well, doesn't allow for putting your own bags on the area to fill, then removing it to basket as there is no room for another. Fix that, and I'd be happier. Only one live checker today so sel check was my choice, but still! It should be more user friendly.

They're short staffed so there can be a long wait for some services. If you're filling water jugs, their prices are higher than anywhere else in town, but otherwise their prices are comparable. They do have the widest selection of food in town.
