I like shopping at Safeway, but we went out of our way to go this location because they advertise they have lebanon bologna and they do not have it nor is it able to be ordered

Was just at Safeway to get some meat from the deli. Two young men were in the department horsing around took 10 minutes to get waited on there was no line, just me. Finally got waited on.Took another few minutes of rummaging to find the meat I wanted. He takes it to the slicing machine. That’s when I notice old meat on the slicer and flies buzzing around. I canceled my order and told them it was because the place was dirty. They had a good laugh.

Store is cool. Tell Jais to say hi to me next time please and thank you. But otherwise, got some good cereal n stuff from the store even though the side of the car I came out of was flooded. Thank you safeway. Your my hero.

Staff is friendly but with supply issues it's frustrating that you can't get things you want sometimes.

I like shopping at Safeway cuz it's not packed it's always a nice peaceful environment. And the employees are nice very helpful. Not like some of these stores were employees see a customer and they turn around take off and go hide. Safeway employees keep up the good work doing a good job.

Being only one of two Grocers in Windsor, this one not being the obvious preferred store across the street, gets my business solely because I don’t want to deal with the full parking lot and jam packed competitor. The parking lot is safe and easy to navigate. The store itself is clean and well organized. The employees are very nice and helpful. Those are the positive aspects. Conversely, they are frequently out of many items, even pre-covid. They are expensive. More so then all of their competitors, in my opinion. The produce seems to go bad in record time and it’s obvious enough to notice each time it happens. I have had to purchase their Lucerne brand of dairy products, such as cheese and creamer because they don’t seem to carry more than one other brand of cheese, if it’s actually stocked. I always regret it. I don’t know why, but their cheese is NOT good. At all. I’ve also returned home to find the heavy cream is spoiled with lumps and a fowl smell. The expiration listed is over a week from this time but it’s already quite inedible. But the WORST thing has got to be their Deli and Bakery! I finally stopped buying anything at all from these departments because 9 out of 10 times the bakery items (and I’ve tried several) are hard as a rock or don’t taste anything like the sweet deliciousness they are intended for. More like cardboard. I’ve purchased several chicken tenders and quick dinner items with the breading on the chicken being so hard I couldn’t even bite into a piece. Not one piece in the entire container. Since it was $7 I begrudgingly had to go back to return it. I’ve returned at least a half a dozen things. I’ve lost money by just tossing many more, because it was too inconvenient to waste more time going back over and over again. I don’t understand how this is even possible from such a large, long standing grocer. But it unfortunately is.

Annoyed, impatient, older, female cashier said that customers with store coupons "shouldn't use the self checkout lanes because the coupons have to be scanned by an employee" Sorry it sucks to help customers and get paid for doing your job.

Normally I do not write reviews in anger, but I am beyond angry right now. I’ve had an appointment for a week to get my moderna vaccine today. When I went to get it, they told me they don’t have it. They told me to call the harmony location which told me that they had it but they were saving it for their appointments. Neither of these are listed online. So apparently Windsor Safeway can just give out your vaccine and not call or email (I had to drive over there to find out), while the harmony location can actually count their appointments. I don’t know what to do now. Please find somewhere else for a pharmacy if you’re looking to avoid undue frustration.
