The store has some good points onion rye bread outstanding staff is helpful if you can find them but by far the worst thing a lot of products are out of or passed the sell by date. Especially the milk I found numerous containers the were literally a full 3 weeks passed date iam writing this Saturday nov 5 today I saw milk with an expiration date of October 10 for sale in the cooler I told customer service they did seem to care I will check back next week to see what has be done my advice no not buy milk here

Very sad, this used to be my favorite store. Busy Saturday- shelves not stocked, no one at the fish counter, 2 registers open, long wait, bag yourself, employees wandering by registers not helping. Did not ask for shop rite card.

UPDATE: I changed from 5 star to 1 stars!!! Don't know if they lack enough employees, or management simply doesn't care, but shop rite is a MESS as of lately! For an ENTIRE WEEK there was glass all over the first two handicap parking spots, brought up to manager but was never cleaned. Also, the bathrooms are DISGUSTING! Always dirty, with toilet paper and paper towels on the floor, broken paper towel dispensers (men and women's), urine all over men's room floor, and worst of all EMPLOYEES NOT WASHING HANDS AFTER USING BATHROOM!!!! 🤢 My husband addressed this with the manager and was brushed off! The next day he brought it up again with different manager, he at least asked what the employees looked like. Although doubt anything was done cause it still continues. On one occasion I waited to use the women's room for 15 mins while an employee decided to sit in the stall and talk on her phone during her break. How did I know you ask? I listened to her ENTIRE CONVERSATION! Till finally she said "I got 5 mins left on my break so I gotta go soon"... Shop Rite should be ashamed of themselves! Went from my favorite grocery store to my ABSOLUTE LEAST FAVORITE very quickly! Oh, and NO SANITIZING ANYMORE, so beware! Even the hand sanitizer dispenser they have for customers consistently sits empty. SHAME ON YOU SHOP RITE.

I was in your store yesterday afternoon 6/5/2022 for the first time in a long time - enjoyed my shopping experience and felt that I got some great deals. Thought to myself that I should shop there more often. All of this was ruined by my checkout experience - lines were not too long and walked right up to a register next to the self check-outs and proceeded to put my items on the belt after I got most of them up there the cashier - I believe named Zoe looked at me and said you’ll have to go to another register because you have more than 12 items - I had an order over $100 There were ZERO people behind me and she simply could have checked me out but instead asked me to help her hang up a sign that said 12 items or less. The register first off was not clearly marked only with a small handwritten sign but the REAL problem is the attitude of this young lady. I honestly don’t know why I just did not walk out of your store right then and there I put everything back in my cart while she stood there doing absolutely nothing. I walked over to the store manager and expressed my frustration and he said she would be dealt with but while I checked out at the register next to her she still stood there doing absolutely nothing again while I bagged my own groceries to help the cashier that was checking me out. Customer service and having the right people representing you are incredibly important - someone failed incredibly yesterday leaving that mess as a last impression of my trip to your store. Sad that your store is no longer what it used to be.

You should be able to go out of the store the same way you come the store. Being Handicap parking is by the 1st door. Will not shop there again. Poor parking lot.

Nice store good sales and reasonable regular prices on some items compared to competitors not a big fan of some of the sales requiring the purchase 4 or more to get the best price , especially on items like toothpaste, its tough enough with ever rising prices to feed the family without having to buy multiple non food items in large quantities. But overall I recommend this store.

Only if I'm desperate...The last couple quick grocery runs here were frustrating. Half of the self checkout registers don't work--two only accept cash and another three are closed or not working. Same story last week. The staff at these registers are also too busy talking to each other to address the problem. I approached a seemingly-working register to find that the previous customer left an error that couldn't be cancelled out without a staff member. I walked away and got back in line, then watched a staff member shut down the system and go back to his conversation instead of fixing it. At this point, two customers who were originally behind me were already checked out. It's also frustrating to wait behind customers who check out a whole cart of groceries, when you only have a few items. Those customers need to use a staffed register. Getting into the parking lot is another hassle, when you drive past the store front. People don't know how to use crosswalks and many cars idle because their friends are too lazy to walk to and from the lot, both causing traffic backup. Stop and Shop had a better system, more attentive staff, and cleaner store. Awaiting a generic, canned response from the store.

They have a decent selection of unusual ingredients and we'll layed out floor plan as so you don't get lost easily. Only complaint I have is the lack of open registers at checkout. The most I've ever seen open at one time is 2 ( mind you this is on a Saturday between 9-12 I usually go) extremely crowded and lines going down to the isles, still only 2 registers open at most
