Great bagels, horrible customer service. The owner doesn’t need to be so rude when people are trying to give her business.

idk but i’ve never had a problem w the ladies who work here. their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and it legit says on their menu that if you wanna take home 6 or 12 bagels, you have to order in advance. honestly the best bagel place i’ve been to.

Unlike many of you, I had an amazing experience. I cannot emphasize how much I love a good BEC and that’s what I received. Quick, delicious, spicy ketchup. I spoke with the owner that several reviews criticized for being rude. I now see the issue; many of you have never worked in the food service industry and it shows. The woman is fine, admittedly overworked, but genuinely pleasant. People must be more patient. Especially with those working in the thankless gauntlet of the food service Industry. Especially during a global pandemic. The owner speaks my language: fluffy rolls, gooey eggs, and crispy bacon. That is the only communication that should matter. If you left a bad review (on someone’s livelihood) because you got your feelings hurt, you’re as soft as the bread at Bagel Zone Cafe and Grill.

A bagel shop where you can't buy bagels... What a concept!!! I rarely write reviews but just had to in this case.... I went into this shop probably 2 years ago w/ my son and tried to buy 6 bagels. The owner looked at me like I was crazy and said, the max you can get is 3 at any one time... If I wanted any more than 3 I'd have to call 24 hours in advance. She then told me her opening hours which were ridiculous & impossible to remember (tue & thu from 6-10, then again from 2-4 unless it's the second Tue of the month in which case it's 9-3, M & W from 8-10 unless it's raining on the Wednesday and the Red Sox are playing that night - Ok I'm exaggerating but they really were very very confusing hours) - So I asked her, can I get 3 and my son, who has his own money, get another 3? She said no, 'she can't do that' with a scowl. So I ordered 3 bagels and asked about shmears which again was a whole other issue but I honestly can't remember what her rules were around that. I decided to give it another change a few days ago and this time went in to order the allotted 3 bagels... She asked me what I wanted on them and I told I just wanted to take home 3 bagels... "No, I can't do that" she says.. "No 'dry' bagels due to COVID." I wasn't' entirely sure why it would be ok to sell me a bagel with cream cheese but not just a bagel on it's own but I felt like was in crazy-ville. I'm also at a loss as to why she (rightfully) requires her customers to wear masks yet neither she, nor her staff, wears one. I've no idea how this place is still in business. Her silly rules and her total lack of customer service skill don't make up for the pretty good but certainly not to die for bagels she churns out. I'd still recommend people try it out if they're up for head scratching experience.

One of the RUDEST owners and employees I have ever met. As soon as my cousins and I walked in, when we asked for a minute to look at the menu, they acted incredibly annoyed. If it was busy and there were other customers, I’d understand COMPLETELY, but the store was COMPLETELY EMPTY and they kept nagging us to order so they could “get ahead on the order.” How are we supposed to order if we don’t even know what’s on the menu yet? And when we DID try to order, everything and anything we wanted (including PLAIN BAGELS???) wasn’t available. And they acted like it was our fault for DARING to order anything other than a rainbow bagel. When we asked them questions about the menu or tried striking up friendly conversation (again, they were completely empty and not busy except for us) they literally didn’t answer us. just stayed completely silent and ignored us. We decided to leave BEFORE putting in our final order, as we were leaving, one of the ladies called us “assh*le.” Lastly, while one of my cousins asked if masks were required, one of the ladies said “did you not read the sign?” We all wear masks, but the two at the counter didn’t have masks at all, and judging from these other reviews, they didn’t wear masks in the beginning of the pandemic either. We all wondered whether the fact that we’re all brown contributed to this service, but I guess they’re just rude to everybody. Awful service, you’re better off getting your bagels at Dunkin’ 🙄

It was honestly pretty funny how rude the lady running the place was. Surprising how someone trying to run a small business literally is just rude to customers for no good reason. Also not one person working there was wearing a mask. COVID who? I will admit that my bagel was good. And it’s probably worth a trip to ruin your day but still enjoy a pretty good bagel.

The food here is great and the prices are also great. The customer service isn’t the greatest but the staff wasn’t outright rude to me when I went. I got a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and it slapped hard. I will be coming back in the future.

My daughter and I loved our breakfast. We ordered bacon, egg, and cheese and sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches on waffles. They came with maple syrup and were delicious. The kegger bites were amazing. They are like bacon and cheese breakfast tater tots.

The lady who checked my friends and I out was INCREDIBLY rude - we were shocked at her behavior. It was truly disgusting. I never leave reviews, in fact this is actually my first one. This lady was so terrible and ill mannered that I felt I needed to tell others about my experience (and reading other reviews I have seen that I’m clearly not the only one who has had a negative experience). When I walked in and ordered my bagel I turned around to my friend to say something to her and walked 1 FOOT AWAY from the desk, and the lady (who I’ve since is is the owner) aggressively said “where are you going” and then when I said “oops my bad” she rolled her eyes at me very blatantly. So rude. My friends and I were going to take the bagels to go, however just before leaving decided that we were going to it there. The same lady YELLED across the room from behind the desk about how it was horrible that we asked her to wrap the bagels to go if were just going to eat in. Then she yelled at another costumer about asking for a knife. Horrible lady, I will absolutely never go back again. The bagel was fine but this lady ruined my experience and I couldn’t even enjoy my food let alone feel comfortable in the establishment at all. Sue- if you’re reading this, I suggest you seriously get an attitude check because people are really unhappy with your quality of service. It doesn’t matter how good the quality of your food is, NOBODY wants to go there if you’re a rude and aggressive person that ruins people’s days as soon as they step foot in the door. Thanks.

The woman taking our order accidentally forgot to put our order in because it was so busy. She was so nice and only took her 10mins to realize her mistake so she gave us two extra hash browns on the house! 🙌🏼❤
