Had the clutch replaced on my 17 WRX. Excellent work and service. I drove an hour here, so I had to wait for it. The put two techs on this so that can get me out faster. Highly recommended. Would not hesitate to use them again. Service: Transmission

All I can say is that Jimmy and the guys at The Shop are all great. I've been to them for APR Stage 1 install, adjustable sport springs install, performance brakes and a few other things but when I really saw this shop shine was when I had an ECS valved exhaust put on my car and had a problem with the first one. Jimmy got right on the phone with ECS and got a new one sent to the shop and installed and went even further to get rid of some noise due to slightly improper fitting. The shop CT is awesome! One stop shopping for all of your car needs and to fulfill your fantasies. The crew there are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. From the lovely Lisa , Conor , and the owner jimmy the gent. He s truly a vehicle czar. The secret to having a terrific experience there is to have jimmy and Conor walk you through your build and address your needs . They are both gentlemen and know their craft. I traveled to ct. for a simple tune on my 2020 wrx limited and I left there with a super car. Trust the experts and listen to the professionals , and you will be genuinely rewarded. A buddy recommended Jimmy. Brought my Focus ST to dismount my tires off my stock wheels and put them on my new wheels and then align my car. This took a bit longer than expected. Tires that were coming off the stock wheels came with the car when I bought it. One had a sidewall patch and I had no idea. Well that tire exploded when being removed. I bought 4 more tires. Jimmy was willing to eat the cost of the 4 new tires even though it was not his fault. Told him no and that I would pay for them. Even though I was there for a while, I had nothing but a good experience. Lisa and CJ were great and kept me updated the whole way. I will for sure recommend them to my other buddies and will come back for more work in the future. Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Where do I start? Well it’s always a great time at the shop ct with Jimmy and Mikey. They’re always going above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied and car is built and tuned the right way no shortcuts. I drive up 2 hours from NJ when ever I need anything done to my car and expect nothing but excellence. I don’t let no one else touch my car the same way I don’t let another barber cut my hair lol. Seriously these guys are great up at the shop, communication is great, jimmy’s email response are quick and almost around the clock. Mind you other businesses don’t respond to emails after 3pm. Prices/ Service is great I’ve been to other well known shops and wasn’t convinced. Mikey’s a great tuner, very knowledgeable and humbled guy definitely best tuner in CT. This shop has the best customer service experience. I brought my B7 A4 in for a KO4 turbo swap. The injectors I supplied were faulty and it caused a bunch of extra labor and time. The shop, to my surprise, didn't charge me for every time they opened my motor up. They also had me come into the shop to show me the problem and kept me well informed on their plan of action. I have had bad experiences with mechanics who take advantage of my lack of mechanical car knowledge and theshopct never made me feel this way. I live an hour and a half away from theshopct and I must say its well worth the travel. Knowledgeable, trustworthy, and caring. They made me feel like family.

Ahh, where to start? My long car trouble journey started roughly two years ago when my Subaru decided to do that thing that Subaru's do best; blow up. I brought it to a local "Subaru performance shop" to get a diagnosis and make a plan. I spent roughly the next year and 8 months being dragged around by excuses and less that appropriate work, followed by a periodic wallet wringing. It got to a point where I said enough is enough, pulled my car out from under the shop, and had it towed to my house. This is where the miracle work started to kick in. I reached out to Jimmy at TheShopCT after my buddy Yanni recommended me to him. To say that the two shops couldn't be farther polar opposites is an understatement. The immaculate care and precision to the smallest of details that Jimmy holds each customers car to is unmatchable. After getting a full run through diagnosis, a jarring moment for both him and I from the can of worms the state my car was in, we proceeded to lay out a plan. Every stone of my car was overturned, with a daily if not bidaily phone call or photographic update sent to me. My nightmare predicament had completely transitioned to a dream outcome; a highly skilled professional performance shop building my car from the block up and out. At the end of the tunnel I had a better than ever, cleaned, polished, ding-treated, detailed, forged, rebuilt, mikey tuned racecar daily, along with a new found friendship and respect for Jimmy and his wife Lisa. There is not enough praise I can say in regards to The Shop Ct, do yourself and your vehicle a favor and book whatever you need done with them. You will never be disappointed, ever.
