It's the closest gym to my house and would have been the one to sign up for membership. But their equipment is not the newest models like planet fitness I decided to go with nearby. LA having a swimming pool, courts and closest location to me would have been perfect to pick but the machines are what made me opt out. Please update your machines and the warehouse feeling inside with the lighting.

This gym is the worst. There are often no paper towels or soap in the bathrooms or on the floor. The gym is supposed to open at 8am on Saturdays and Sundays, but the guy that was scheduled to open on Saturday showed up at 8:25am. There was no one to call to complain. The people at the front desk are always on their phones, and let anyone come in without scanning their access id's. This gym continues to get worse year over year. The management doesn't care, nor do they address the continued issues. I am strongly considering leaving !

What a sad and rude group of La Fitness employees. I took my granddaughter in to discuss a membership, she greeted the guy at the counter THREE time with no response. I asked to speak to a Rep. The guy at the counter left, came back and asked me what I wanted. What I can't speak to a Rep.? Rep comes out and is equally as rude. I guess I interrupted his Netflix movie. I've been a member of LA Fitness at thst location before. With service like that, they'll be closed soon. I'll be closing my account tomorrow. No more of my money. There is a gym down the street. Customer Service closes at 2pm. Wow!

I visited this gym yesterday. I was not impressed. The first three stair climbers (one wobbled) were not working and there was only one water dispenser working. I went in expecting more but to me it's a glorified planet fitness with a pool (and more equipment). I will not be joining.

Personal training scam! Beware ! Please do not buy personal training at LA fitness. They just enroll you in contract for 1 year, tell you all good things initially, tell you if it doesn’t work we will talk and make things right but none of them are responsible. Even though due to sickness or trainer not show up there is no option to carry forward the unused session to next month. When enroll membership they said they will freeze the account if any emergency situation and now they are telling they is no option to freeze the account and that’s a trap. I have surgery and now no way to freeze and simply they taking money and no way to carry forward the sessions as well. It’s just a trap, please don’t fall for it. I wrote this review as I was fed up and they signed me up by saying all nice things but actually, it’s all trap.

I have been a member since 3/2019. I see that corporate (based on the banner and customer service input), management (locally) and monthly fee has been changed. Fee has been reduced, which is good. However, I see the equipment cleanliness, maintenance and service has changed in a NEGATIVE WAY. Internally, the professional "LAFitness" look is disappearing...... Parking: Parking lot gets FULL in the evening. Equipment Availability: In the evenings, the gym gets TOO BUSY now. At times equipment is UNAVAILABLE and have to wait or go back the next day. At times, some of the area near equipment and weight section is dominated by groups of people. Some members are rude, they take up the equipment OR seat, watch videos and talk on the phone, while other person is waiting for the equipment. You cannot do anything about it. There is no proper management!! Equipment Maintenance and cleanliness Now-a-days, we do see equipment for service and takes time to get it fixed. Equipment is not cleaned like before. We can see dead skin/ dust and paper towels on the sides of the thread mill. Gym Neatness and Order at the Gym Prior to 2022, gym cleanliness and order was maintained. Now-a-days, we do see paper towels, weights all over the place. Some of the gym customers do not clean; do not even care to put the weights back in place. At times, on the weekends, paper towels and/or clean solution is exhausted and not replaced until Monday. If things does not change in the couple of months, I am sure some regular customers including me would quit and move to other gym (Anytime Fitness)

It's gets too busy now. Main parking is always full. Gave it two stars because its nice place, but be prepared to wait for equipment, and not for 3-5 minutes, more like 30-45 minutes because everyone stands around and on their phone. I will be seeking other gyms because I can't get anything done here.

Came back for the first time in a couple months to this gym and they’ve done some good upgrades added the turf and racks . Def trynna catch up to the edge fitness club only thing that needs attention is the cleaning and more stuff to wipe down equipment everything was out .other then that nice to see the upgrades

I joined this gym one week ago. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The staff is good. I don't think they are rude. They helped me and answered all my questions. The space is also very nice. The gym is not crowded. There is a lot of cardio equipment. The pool temperature is nice. I'm just a little concern about the reviews about lock rooms theft. Perhaps, it would be nice if they had cameras in the lock room and let people know so they would change in the stalls or other private area.
