I absolutely loved the personality and friendliness of my tax preparer Jean Coleman. I go to h r block every year and have since I was 16 and usualy it is a good experience but this year and she was great. I will most definitely be returning and hopefully have Jean as my tax preparer.

CPA was very difficult to understand, English was not her first language. She didn’t/ couldn’t explain the process while entering in info, and became frustrated with me and my wife when we asked questions that she couldn’t answer. Edit* The same woman we worked with last year that we couldn’t understand and almost lost us a ton of money called and left a VM today. The transcript I attached makes about as much sense to me as the actual voice message. Oh and my name Is Troy not Danny… Edit#2 They lost my tax info…

Unresponsive, non-transparent and Radio Silent. After several years of having my taxes prepared by Dover H&R Block, we were notified in September (2021) this year by the IRS that our 2020 tax filings were never received. Our State taxes that were filed the same time were received by the state. Upon receiving IRS notification, I attempted to contact this H&R Block office numerous times by phone, leaving messages and by email and text (we had Rebecca’s number for texts)- we received no calls back or responses from any attempts to contact the office or Rebecca. We called the National H&R Block hotline 2 times and we’re disconnected each time once we mentioned the office we were working with. I’ve showed up to their office during posted business hours to find the door locked and knocked on the door only to be ignored by the person Manning the phones in the front of the office. I’m not sure what is going on, but I paid over $400.00 to have my taxes prepared by them and filed to receive this treatment. I finally went to another H&R Block office in the state and they disclosed that the Dover/Camden office “had some issues” and there was something going on there. Buyer beware, do not trust these guys with your taxes. I bet they will have a canned response saying something about how they value my feed back or thank you for your input with zero follow up.

Russel my tax professional that prepared my taxes never gave me my information back. I tried to get my info for over two months and could never get it from him. When I finally got fed up and went into the location, I was informed that he no longer works there and my file is missing. I will be calling the insurance commission and even the police. I am very upset. That is all my personal information. How did you let this happen?? If my identity is stolen as a result I will be pressing charges on all parties involved
