Brett and the First Rate Movers made this moving experience painless. From start to finish, they worked with my dad, and on the day of the move took care of everything they moved like priceless items. Wrapped everything and put all the items in there new locations with no mishaps. The staff was great, polite and all very hard workers. Appreciate the service you provided us!!

First Rate moved us into a storage unit and then back into a new house. Both sides of the move were absolutely excellent. They are very careful with your items (zero damage for us), on time, and extremely friendly. I don't think you could go wrong using Brett and his crews. Highly recommend these guys.

First Rate movers made moving a very positive experience! From the responsiveness of their office staff to setting up furniture at the new location, they get an A+. They were extremely careful with our furniture, maintained cheery dispositions throughout the move, and were efficient without leaving a scratch on our walls, and that is saying a lot since they had to move a 150 lb bike from a loft down a very narrow spiral staircase! We would certainly use them again and highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about Brett and First-Rate Movers. I've used them twice now, and both times they went above and beyond to make sure my belongings were moved with the utmost care. Their crews are professional, friendly, dependable, and hard working. They really take the stress out of moving! I will undoubtedly use them again!

Brett and his team were great. And was a great value. I highly recommend using them. Also I saw a review below about boxes. When I asked Brett about getting boxes vs. getting them at Home Depot, he was VERY clear that Home Depot would be less expensive, but that was just for boxes (whereas First Rate would offer tape and packing materials which is why his pricing is the way it is). Do not base your decision on that review.

Terrific Movers! I have moved many times over the years, both short and long distances and these guys are terrific. I hired them to move heavy things within my house which the company that moved me in could not do. They took two very heavy bookcases up the stairs, with a landing and turn on the first try. They also moved numerous other things upstairs as well and helped me get the garage better organized. They are definitely the first choice for a local move in Delaware! I would call them again. The pricing was very fair and the team worked together and very hard without a break. Brett, the owner/operator is a good man who sets a high standard for his business. My daughter had a 10x10 storage facility in Lewes filled with furniture my husband and I no longer needed after we downsized and moved to Sussex County from out-of-state.
