I needed to move my the furniture and items I was keeping from my parents home to my garage and home. I was able to schedule the appointment quickly and got pricing by phone upfront. There were no surprise fees and the move happened a bit earlier than expected. It was a 100 degree day and the men never stopped working. I was impressed how hard they worked in the heat, how professional they were and how careful. Everything was moved and delivered in the same condition. I used this company 10 years ago as well when I moved into my own home and will gladly use them again! I highly recommend!

From start to finish with this company it’s been a nightmare. From poor communication, to being late with the delivery, and finally, just the amount of items that we’re destroyed. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They showed up to a big job short staffed. 3 guys to move 1.5 houses. Then, one guy only took inventory the entire time. They destroyed my daughters new bedroom set by not taking it completely apart and plugging other items on tops of it. Our sofa got wrecked, the guys who unloaded did the best they could to fix it. Overall, lots of broken items because of poor placement in the truck. The only positive part of this experience were the crew who came ti unload. They worked fast and efficient. But overall, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Working with the office was easy and a pleasure .Packing days went well until after 7 months when I opened my boxes. Some boxes had great amount of protected paper while others had none to minimum. Just today I opened my Easter container of decorations and 60% was smashed. Even the containers plastic bottom was all cracked up . My China had minimum amount of paper and luckily we only lost 4 pieces. My huge 5 ft nutcrackers did not fend well. One was wrapped nicely with blankets the other one was ruined along with most corners of my furniture. Oh don’t the wet corner of my mattress and the huge chuck of wood from my huge cabinet. They took my things away in a huge truck and returned it in way smaller type uhaul truck with boxes all stacked on top of each other and stuffed in when they should have returned it safely in 2 to 3 smaller uhauls . Not to mention the other things that were broken. If your using this company get lots and I mean lots of insurance and good luck. Wish we never gave them the huge tip!! By the way being sorry for our experience does not cut it!!! NEVER AGAIN

I did my homework preparing for my move researching local movers, got 2 quotes and chose Delaware Moving & Storage for my local move. The estimate was reasonable. The scheduling was very easy. Great to work with. Dave Sterling was very knowledgeable about the moving process. Everything went on time. Very professional. Couldn't be more happy. This is a great family run company and should be your first choice !

Most people like to do reviews when they have a bad experience but I like to give credit where credits is due especially in these trying times. . I recently moved from Bear to Pike Creek. My salesman was Ben. He was so professional and answered all of our questions and concerns. We haven’t moved in the last 30 years so a lot has changed since then. The guys ion the truck were right on time. They worked really hard all day. They eased my anxiety about the whole thing. They also were respectful. At the time there was no mask mandate but when they got here I asked them to wear one because I have a lot of medical issues. I felt bad seeing them huffing all my furniture up and down my stairs but they never complained. My experience was awesome. If I have to move again someday (hopefully not) but I would definitely use Delaware Moving and Storage again. If any of my friends or family decide to move I will be referring them to Ben and Delaware Moving are Storage.
