I had a back tooth extracted yesterday, the entire process took about 20 minutes, from the numbing to the extraction. The Dr. is really cool, he has this calming spirit that makes you feel safe. The entire staff, is soo pleasant, and welcoming. The name fits their culture, because it defiantly felt like family, and they are professional at the same time. I will be recommending them to anyone I come across.

One of the most unpleasant health experiences for me has been a trip to the dentist. However, since I have been attending Dr.Dover’s practice, I have only received prompt, courteous, and professional service. The staff is respectful of my time and Dr. Dover is very detailed and takes the time to explain procedures and a course of action that has minimal disruption to my budget and pain free. I have been bouncing around dentists for a while and this one was the one I settled on for complex work. I've seen a good bit of the staff and every single person has been amazing. So nice and friendly and they are always answering my million and one questions, as we all have since we want to make sure everything goes smoothly. I recommend this office highly, I'm getting my teeth fixed before summer gets going thanks to these guys 😁

I would recommend anyone seeking a dentist to go to this office. I was seeking dentistry care with a new provider for a semi-emergency situation. Dr. Dover's office was accommodating, helping, and cared. They gave me an appointment and treated me as if I had been a patient for many years. I have never felt so comfortable with any dentist before. Katie is AWESOME! Dr. Dover is the BEST! He took the time to explain things to me to help me make the best decision. There is no better place to receive dental care but TOWNSEND FAMILY AND COSMETIC DENTISTRY!

I've recently switched practices due to a move, and visited Townsend Family & Cosmetic Dentistry with both of my children for the first time this past week. Both visits were wonderful - short wait, friendly staff, and great care. We will be regulars!

Never had a chance to be seen. Two days before my sons appointment I got a call asking to reschedule because they only have one doctor working that day now. I told them that this is a rather short notice and I have already took time off work to take care of this. This was apparently of no concern for the lady I spoke with because her reply was that there are plenty of other providers that take our insurance in the area. This speaks that this particular practice does not really care about their patients. Why would I want my family to be your patient if that the kind of attitude and care I get from the start. Like I was told, I will be looking for another practice that takes my insurance in the area. Katie Here is a transcript of the original voice mail you have left asking to reschedule: "Hi this is Katie from Dover family dentistry I'm calling regarding [my sons name] has an appointment with us this Friday, November 16 um unfortunately when we schedule this appointment they were two doctors working on Friday now they're only one um I a.m. meeting to move __________________ I do have an opening this Thursday the 15th at 9 o'clock um I do need to call me as soon as possible um if you'd like to take that appointment our number is 672-7766 thanks bye…”

We take our entire family to Townsend Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. Melissa our hygienist is wonderful. We have a positive experience every time. She is thorough, professional and nice to chat with. The dentist have been able to handle our "active" children and fill their fillings with ease. My kids actually like going there. Katie the receptionist, always has a warm friendly face to greet. She has done a great job navigating our difficult insurance problems for us. We have spent a few years searching for the right local dentist since our move to Delaware and we have finally fond the right one. We plan to come back here for years to come.
