I've used H&R Block for 3 years now. Each time they do my taxes, I pay around $460. Self employment/business + audit protection (which is pretty expensive in my opinion but I pay and never complain). This was my first time visiting this location. I booked an appointment in advanced (I had to wait about 10 mins). Each year I notice that H&R Block does the absolute BARE MINIMUM even though I pay extra each year. I received a IRS form CP11. Apparently they have never seen this form before. They requested I make ANOTHER appointment to address this form which I did. I come in the next week only to be told that I need to call the IRS on my own time to figure this out - they were not going to help me even though they advertise otherwise AND I pay for extra services (wasted my time/gas). Basically the IRS is missing a form that H&R Block was supposed to submit for me in a previous tax year (that is exactly why I pay to get my taxes done so I don't make these mistakes myself yet H&R Block claims to be 100% accurate). No other options were provided for me so then I asked for help to call the IRS and they proceeded to tell me I would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $100 for their help to call. At the end of my appointment, I was told to make ANOTHER appointment (waste more time/gas) for zero help. Won't be returning to this location and I will be looking for an actual tax expert next year.

I had a very hard time understanding my tax professional. She had an accent and she spoke very softly under her mask, making communication very difficult. She also could not type. This should be a required skill for this profession. She took FOREVER creating the declaration letter as she copied and pasted all the info and when she did type, it was 1 key at a time with the back of a pen. I also have some concerns about the information she entered on my taxes. For example, I explained that my son was claimed by my mom last year, therefore I did not get stimulus checks for him. She stated that I HAD TO say that I did because I was claiming him this year. How does that make sense? I only received 1800 for the first 2 stimulus checks. She put that I got double that because she included my sons which I did not receive. I also asked her about the child tax credit as I thought it went up to 3600 with the new stimulus. She had no idea what I was talking about. I was also not informed of costs up front, I thought that I would fall under a "complex return" and was expecting to pay around $100... My total was told to me at the very end and came to almost $350!! I could go on and on. It was a TERRIBLE experience altogether and I will likely never come back because of it.

The GM and staff were incredibly rude and refused to help in anyway. I would NEVER take my business here! I've also shared this experience on several social media platforms encouraging others to go ANYWHERE ELSE!
