We (small business owners) had all of our equipment in our unit. We went on a vacation to Mexico and came back with Covid, we’re sick for weeks unfortunately it affected our income and we became past due, we were told by the property manager not only did we have to pay the current months dues and fees which was completely fine. She wanted us to prepay a month forward. We explained we have some events and needed access to our unit and could only pay what was past due. She refused us access to our unit. I spoke with a different manager at a different location and he told me she was incorrect, it was month to month with no commitment or contracts. so why deny us access to our unit? Then I come in to speak with her directly, she stayed firm on paying a month in advance so I had no choice but to tell her we’d be removing our items this month (June) and finding a new location. Then she “tried” to tell me May wasn’t paid for which was not true, finally corrected herself, then told me the total of June was 220 something and I asked for a print out of all fees and she “tried” to explain them. I insisted on a print out showing all fee and to my surprise it was only 193?!? Seriously??? Scammers, maybe not the owner, maybe not the district manager but certainly the property manager!! So we called asking for her chain in command (District Manager) and she refused to indulge that information? Why because you knew you were trying to take money you shouldn’t from customers? I would suggest taking your business elsewhere until they replace their current manager. They probably wanted to make it as difficult for us to get access to our items so they could auction it off, inflatables, foam cannons, concessions etc. BEWARE!

I have a clean and secure place for my belongings as I downsize & eventually purge and pass on. The price goes up regularly which is a bit much on a fixed income. If a new person is going to pay one price for the same space, why do I have to pay at least 30% more as a long standing customer? Time to empty and hold my recommendations.

What can you say about a storage facility? The prices are a tad high for my liking but it’s probably the best in the area. The staff is super friendly, you have easy access to your unit, and the units are clean and well kept up. That’s really all you can ask from a storage facility.

They may be the cheapest place I could find and 2nd month free but they had the friendliest lady at the counter and quickly got me in any out. Wonderful place

Horrible business! Do not rent here!!! If you do, know that you will be charged out the ass if you are ever late!!! Big time....just know what you're getting into. Rent is due on the first, if you're late paying... On the 5th they charge a $20 late fee and LOCK up your stuff. Then comes the harassing phone calls... They WILL call you EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! Then more late charges... Now at the end of the month (30 days) and you still can't pay the over inflated price they will charge another $150 "lien fee" plus a $25. Fee to "cut the lock" then they will charge you another $100. To sell your stuff, and keep 20% of all monies earned. Do yourself a favor and buy a new shed! Little money down and the monthly payments are cheaper!

I had an excellent experience. I live in NY and needed an immediate storage unitl for my daughters furniture who lives in FL. I called frantic thinking I was not going to have an luck but BOY was i wrong. I received a phone call back within two minutes and was explained everything. They were able to take my information over the phone and just wait for payment until my daughter arrived the next day. Once my daughter was there I received another phone call to make sure I was approving the charge on my card. There were no hidden charges and everything was exactly as explained. My daughter was in and out within 5 minutes tops and able to move her stuff into her storage unit. I even received one month free. I again called today 3/4/17 so explain I would be picking up my stuff on 3/15 and no longer needing the unit and again had an extremely pleasant conversation. They took my payment over the phone and explained how simple the process was to "move out". I have never been so pleased with a company espcially since I am so far away. Every month I received an email reminding me payment was due. I recommend Out O' Space storage to anyone in FL and anyone that would be moving to FL. I just cant say enough about them. .
