Dropped by Winn Dixie today after not being in one for over a year and was reminded why I stopped shopping Winn Dixie...the outrageous prices. Although I was able to get a few items that were on sale, but just a few. A few years ago WD had done a bit of a turnaround and lowered their prices to a somewhat reasonable rate but now they have allowed their pricing to rise higher than their previously egregious levels. They have now surpassed Publix's ridiculous pricing model, which is disappointing to see. The only positive thing I can say about this location was it appeared to be very clean and they have even made an attempt to modernize this very old & outdated location. Also, there appeared to be way too many employees circulating throughout the very well-stacked aisles, which comes as no surprise after viewing the nearly empty shopping carts of the sparse amount of other customers during my visit. Even the BOGOs on offer were so high in price one could purchase 2 of the same product say at Walmart and pay less than a WD BOGO. As for me, I won't be returning anytime soon or at all. Although if they did away with the obnoxious "twins" they use for marketing (which makes absolutely no sense with their brand) I may be willing to give them another shot. Do away with their pathetic marketing team could lower store prices with the amount of money they would save.

This store struggles with it's age but serves the community of locals and tourists very well. The staff is extremely responsive to any need.

My favorite Winn Dixie. No complaints. They always have fresh meat, fruits and vegetables. Before and after the hurricane they were quick to open and maintain decent stocked shelves, considering they are the only supermarket in the area. Always a great experience.

It's been my neighborhood grocery store since 2019. The customer service is excellent, the hours of operation meets the needs of the community. Winn-Dixie is within walking distance to a lot of the locals who reside year-round in rental units nearby. Many do not own their own transportation. Equally beneficial to owners of condo units who, we affectionately call, "snowbirds". Let's not forget all the tourists who visit for leisure, events, erc. Daytona Beach Shores is where I, and many others, call "Home".

I'm from NYC, sure we have like Walmarts but no WD, I loved it, store so nice n clean n the produce so fresh, a bit expensive. The staff is very courteous n friendly. I'll be back.

This is such a cute little grocery store. And everything was so clean and organized. The cashier was so friendly, I hate going to Walmart so this was definitely a good place to get our groceries for our trip.

What a beautiful , bright, neat, and clean store. I will be returning to do my shopping at this store. The employees were very nice and hard-working.

Bought honey that was marked as bogo. Even matched the codes to ensure I got the right one. System did not pick up the bogo when purchased. I reviewed the receipt and brought it to the attention of the cashier. She stated that it was not bogo. Went to the isle and took a photo to prove it was. The cashier stated that they cannot do anything since customer service was closed…it was 6:48 Pm. Asked for a manager but she stated the manager was busy and advise that I come back at another time. So now I have to come back on my own time, earlier than 6pm apparently because windixie does not have the staff to fix the problem that they caused during peek business hours. Super.

Word is that the Winn Dixie on the beach is more expensive than on the mainland. NOT TRUE! I was pleasantly surprised, even shocked by the prices on most items like lettuce. Folks visiting our beaches can take it from a mainland shopper that you are getting some of the lowest prices at any Winn Dixie. And extremely nice cashiers will check you out. WIN WIN 👍🏾👴🏾

We have been coming to Daytona for 27 years. We walk across the street from Perry’s (yes, a shameless plug), and we’re at WD. We have many long standing traditions. Always creating new ones. WD is one that we always look forward too. Shop here. It’s clean, well organized. Get their app. It will save you money. It has us this trip. It always does.
