Multiple self checkout kiosks available alone with some normal checkout conveyor belt lines. Good location close to other stores. Near downtown Dunedin and the pier. On June 19th at 430 pm I was at the self check out cash register and was beginning to purchase my items by scanning them and putting them in the bag. Upon approaching the machine there was some powdery white substance all over the register and scanning machine. I began to scan my green beans and tilapia that I was charged for multiple times. I was looking around for assistance and realized that no one was working the front end to assist me. I had to then proceed to hit the call button for assistance because no one was visibly working the front end. I waited about 5 minutes to get some help. Finally, a lady came and helped me her name was Kim. She addressed me in a manor that was highly unprofessional which made my experience very uncomfortable and I then felt like an unvalued customer. I live and reside in this community and shop here every week. I have never encountered any employee this unprofessional while spending my hard earned money to patronize the dunedin neighborhood walmart.I demand an apology! And thus employee needs to remember that there is a Publix Supermarket down the street and across from that Publix Supermarket there is a Winn Dixie along with many mom and pop shops that serve groceries and products. I chose to patronize Walmart. Sam and Bud Walton the founders of Walmart would be turning in their graves if they heard employees talking to customers like that. Customers keep the lights on, provide paychecks, uniforms, and all the essentials to keep Walmart running at full compacity. Without the customers patronizing business there's no need to have employees, there's no need to have the doors open if people aren't shopping and spending money. I simply asked the lady if she could remove the items off the screen that I was charged for multiple times with a nice kind please....she returned with total unprofessionalism.

This store has been completely re-done> Much cleaner and more organized for sure> had to ask for assistance in finding a few items ( nothing is where is was, so go with a little extra time and patience in your pocket) overall like what they have done/ just note does not have a ton of selection like a "super Walmart" also only 2 lanes of cashiers, the rest are self-check out/ again the staff were helpful in this area as well > Great place to grab a few items needed in between regular grocery shopping 😁

I visited this location on 4/09/2022 I must agree to the following comment about the store looking and feeling dirty. I have been in this location a few times as a last resort; it is always the same. The employees seem stressed or unaware of customer importance. I had the shopping cart person yelling at me to move when I was waiting for a pedestrian; Focus on your job please and do not badger your customers. There is no respect for the customer while shopping in here as they stock the shelfs: the staff will run you over with their carts while making you feel as though you are in the way. This is not a 24-hr. location so why there is so much stocking activity during the early morning hours leave me wondering. I would suggest going to Publix right down the road for a better experience. Shame on you Walmart you can do better.

If I could do a minus 20 I would. I have just gone here for the last time. It’s been bad enough battling the personal shoppers battling down every aisle. Now you have moved every single thing in your store. And most of the changes make no sense. Not to mention the aisles over by the pharmacy are one cart wide which means if someone else is in that aisle or comes in while you’re there you’ll have to walk backwards out of it. ABSURD. I heard countless people complaining and struggling to find their items. I finally gave up and left before I got all I needed. One lady told me she was going back toPublix even if it means going to the poor house. I can’t say I will never run in to pick up a gallon of milk or loaf of bread but I will never ever come there to do my weekly shopping again.

Oh my goodness! Don't think I've ever been to a Walmart with such a friendly staff member. Wish I'd gotten the gentleman's name. He sent me directly to the aisle where the coffee cups were, was super friendly at the check out and got me through fast when he learned I was actually on my way to work. Great job!

The store is nice and you can’t beat Walmart prices in store. However the store needs to work on placing their inventory. You had to move around almost everyone. Kind of like moving around a packed night club, but your moving around pallets instead.
