Dr. Cassidy was recommended to me and she’s the best vet I've found. I live in San Francisco- but my dog travels with me regularly for family visits to Florida. Basically, Dr. Cassidy impresses me so much I schedule my dog’s appointments with her whenever possible. Before I adopted my chihuahua, she was hit by a car and making a slow recovery after months in a shelter/ foster home. Her leg muscles were seriously atrophied, and she was taking longer than expected to regain use of her leg. Dr. Cassidy provided a comprehensive physical therapy regiment that went above and beyond the advice we got from a previous vet. She advised a number of exercises that made a remarkable and FAST difference. It’s amazing to find an exceptionally talented veterinarian who takes the extra time. I also noticed my dog is less fearful of Dr. Cassidy than she seems with other vets (even female ones). I think that says a lot. I have returned for my dog’s annual wellness exams, teeth cleaning, and an oral surgery.

Brought my dog there for his vaccines and wellness check, he was fine for about an hour after his shots. Then started to yelp uncontrollably loud. Took him to an emergency vet. They said they pierced his hip bone when they gave my dog his vaccine. Now I had to pay an additional $200 to the emergency vet for pain killers and the ER vet said he most likely will be in pain to walk for 24-48 hours. Now I can’t even take my dog outside to use the bathroom because he can’t even stand up. Unprofessional.

Dr. Sweeney and the technician were both absolutely wonderful with our fur baby. We are snowbirds and now feel fortunate to have a good vet for our future winter vacations. Thank you EVH.

5 stars does not do justice for this vet. After calling 6 vets this is the only facility that would take us for an urgent care visit. The staff is extremely kind and sweet. Dr. Cassidy is by far the best vet that we have come across. She was very thorough with our cat's exam and took all the necessary steps to get her better. We had to leave Mia the cat for an overnight stay and Dr. Cassidy was still calling me 45 minutes after they closed trying to get as much information to make Mia better. Dr. Cassidy is truly dedicated to her line of work. We can't wait to establish with them to be our primary vet. - Karissa & Mia the cat

Our pet needed veterinary care while out of town & they accepted our baby just like we were regular customers. Dr. Sweeney was very thorough explaining what was going on & procedures they were doing. We will definitely use this vet clinic when in the area again if needed. I would recommend then to everyone with a baby they love & want it to be taken care of like family. 💜

Eustis veterinary hospital is the epitome of compassionate patient-centered care. The second I called their office I could already tell that they truly cared for the animals. The office staff were so attentive and made the process of scheduling an appointment quick and easy. They even got my dog Rhino in as quickly as possible. I called several other vet locations within the Eustis and Mt Dora area. The response I received from other places were that they did not have availability for new patients. One vet office even told me that I needed to submit all my dog’s previous vet records, and they would get back to me in x2-3 weeks and notify me if the vet would take him on as a patient!! But when it came time for my dog’s appointment at Eustis veterinary hospital the office staff, vet techs and vet were incredible. They were VERY thorough when it came to explaining the surgical procedure my dog had. But their phenomenal care didn’t just stop there… They have gone above and beyond in the follow-up care for my dog. They have really set the bar high, and I will never go to another veterinary clinic again! I HIGHLY recommend taking your pets here.

Our old vet retired and we didn't have anywhere to go. Our friend Nicci works there as a Vet Tech and told us about Dr. Cassidy. All the techs and the girl on the phone were all great to deal with. Dr Cassidy is awesome. She called me 3 times to talk about my dog Tucker after she saw him. I am going to have them Neuter him next week and look forward to using them in the future. I adopted a pup and they were able to see us within 48 hours for a well check. The staff were all curious and caring. The DVM spoke with me personally, took time to write instructions on how to care for my pups specific needs. She answered all questions I had, never once did I feel rushed. I'm beyond greatful for finding this place.
