Earlier this evening, 11-02-22, I stopped at Save-a-Lot to pick up some chip dip. Walking through the store I noticed some oddly high prices--in spite of the current economic situation. At checkout I commented to the cashier that some of the prices were higher than Publix ($5.49 for a canister of oatmeal). She responded "Well, go to Publix." What courteous customer service. This snippysnot named Lillith was about the worst example of customer service I have ever seen. Given the inordinately high prices and horrible service I believe it is time to stop shopping there. It may also be time to rename the stores Don't Save Anything at All.

Always have my chicken livers for other places never have them. I make my own dog food so it's a necessity for me

Prices seem very high in comparison to Aldi's prices. They did have an item that I couldn't find anywhere else so my trip was successful.

You can save here in some items. This place was organized and clean the days I have visited. Friendly staff and fresh fruits and vegetables.

You can find some nice bargains fresh produce very good prices on spare ribs and chicken.

Found some great fruit at reasonable prices and sizes, since it's just for me and my husband. Also a great bargain on bone-in pork chops.

This location is the closest store to my house and since I started using them consistently, maybe 5 or 6 months ago, my experiences there have been both hit and miss. Sometimes they have the items I need in stock and other times they don't. Sometimes the staff is friendly and other times they do the bare minimum. Sometimes they accept coupons without me having to spend the required minimum and other times they don't. Perhaps one gets what they pay for.

Bring your own shopping bags or containers. Save-a-Lot is generally a lower standard of cleanliness for a franchise, and this location is not an exception. This store is clean and stocked by those standards and received 3 stars as a general gauge of these less-than-quality keepers stores.
