I walked in recently and was in shock- they completely remodeled and pretty much got rid of EVERYTHING. They should be renamed Balloon City because that is their focus primarily. A quarter of their store is balloons- great but everything else- themed birthdays, candies, color coded party stuff has been slashed to bare minimum stuff. I guess if you really do need something you can't walk into a retail store, you have to shop online :-(

The recent renovation done at Party City is not only much easier to navigate the store because it’s organized, but they have some new employees here that are absolutely exceptional. I’ve been going here for years and the changes that have been made here are EXTREMELY noticeable. I’ve come twice in the past week as I’m party planning for my twins 3rd birthday. Eva, who I believe is the Team leader for the balloon department, was SO kind and greeted my daughter, myself and my mother as we walked in the door. She handed my daughter a helium inflated balloon, a flower balloon & offered us help in finding what we needed. She was so kind— definitely not the party city I remember coming to a few months ago where every employee you asked for help acted like you were a bother. Walking through the store was a breeze, everything is placed right & there was a ton of selection. When we checked out, Eva informed me that we spent a minimum of $50 which qualified us for helium fill up for the 10 balloons purchased AND free delivery on the day of the party. Anyone who’s planned a party before knows how stressful it can be & just the simple act of free delivery of the balloons is a huge weight lifted. We’re so glad we encountered Eva and her team members in the newly renovated Party City.

Xavier is one of the best managers I have seen. I travel to South Florida on a regulare basis and find customer service always lacking. NOT with Xavier, he is an exception. A great manager, and his staff reflects that same customer service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE.

I went to Party City in Oakwood for the first time and the service provided was excellent with the exception of one young cashier who didn't bother to help us plus gave me the wrong information. I guess you will find some staff like him wherever you go. The rest of the staff including the manager went above and beyond to make the visit a pleasant one. I recommend this store 100%. I love it.!!

The sections can be a little overwhelming, but the created a great balloon arrangement for me. Pre-place your order online, but be specific with how you'd like the balloons arranged.

Sometimes their products are open and i dont like to buy used items, but in general they have a nice variations of plastics with all kind of colors, the prices are a little high BUT in general the store organized better than the dollar store and its a good place to buy party needs
