Sears is defunked ! It's 98% electronic today. Very hard to find live person and only call centers in Lake Mary, FL. & Mexico. It's email or nothing. After 40 years of warrantys, new process requires 3 approvals and Forms in mail to extend everything for 3 weeks. Still 79 days no ac gave me 1/3 money on 700 replacement to also cover install. There guy does nothing.

I had to wait several weeks for parts, but can't blame the repair person who fixed my refrigerator and did a good job. Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

Having to call for service for a broken appliance is never a fun thing. My technician, Mr. Lopez, was extremely courteous, he explained everything I needed or wanted to know, and helped me decide to enroll in the home warranty program. He is a credit to his profession and should be acknowledged for his efforts. Thank you so much! Jackie Hemingway Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

The repair man was very knowledgeable about the why my ice and water dispenser stopped working after a moving company moved my fridge and repair was made in 5 minutes. He also repaired the freezer drawer I didn't know was broken. Very pleased with the service. Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

Do not get a sears home warranty OR use them for any repair! I had them out to fix my freezer and signed up for a home warranty plan for the discount and it took 2 months and they never fixed my freezer. I ended up getting a partial refund for the cost I paid minus the $100 trip charge and still don't have a working freezer. Now I had them come out to fix my washer/dryer combo unit and again months later it is completely boke, 5 trips from the tech several parts and still not what I needed. The last time the tech was out he completely broke the washer (I could use it before but it was stopping and I would just need to hit start again) not it is 100% broken and it took a month for the research department to get back to me about what options I have to replace it under my warranty and they finally said the tech closed it as completed and there is nothing they can do but send him back out again and try to fix it again. I am three months in a pandemic without a washer/dryer. DO NOT GO HERE! Service: Washer/dryer repair

After misdiagnosis on my dishwasher TWICE, Sears sent a qualified dishwasher expert to assess the problem. He zeroed in on the exact problem, ordered the parts and set us up for the repair. The only thing that was a bit annoying was how long it took for the parts to arrive. After hand washing dishes for 6 weeks, I was ready to get the machine fixed! Repair day came and Bill arrived on time! Pleasant and knowledgeable, he got the repair done, cleaned up and was on his way in record time! I've always used Sear for appliances and repair, 45+ years in fact! Sears has always (well, most of the time) provided excellent service and quality appliances. Please don't go away Sears! Many of us rely on and appreciate you!

Service man himself pleasant. Computer call said on the way. Hour later shows up says computer notice guesses his progress. Came in with drill and heat sensor to check refrigerator that was only 8 yrs old. Kenmore Elite. Without any other diagnostic says compressor bad. Wanted 800.00 plus tax etc . Warranty only 90 days parts and labor. Said if I committed and bought One year warranty at 50.00 month he could reduce to $400 for repair plus tax etc. This is 2nd time I tried Sears. Last time stove. Turned down repair both times for excessive cost with no diagnostic. There will not be a third visit from this company. If he even pretended to give it a serious look I might have been fooled. Never again.

If I could rate zero I would, the service tech never showed up. Then I get this rate your service on that date. This tells me two things falsifying records and continuing the run around for a service I paid for. Well appointment number four today and yet more parts ordered at least a week for them to arrive then to schedule another appointment for install which will take another week past the delivery. I have been without a functioning refrigerator since May 11th. They only approved a rental refrigerator on June 11th, telling me I had to go to Home Depot, Lowes which do not rent refrigerators, Rental Center or Rent King which only rent to own. Called back on Thursday to let them know about the info above on rentals. I was told to call back Friday and they would conference call these places and advocate for me to get a rental. So I call back Friday only to be told we don't do that. I almost lost my cool. The young lady looked up the one place I could get a refrigerator And said they meet all the requirements needed to get reimbursed. So as it stands it will probably be July 2nd before my next appointment. Below I will list from the start to the present appointments and challenges with them. - May 14th received text tech was on the way at 1:00 did not arrive until 530pm tech inspected ordered evaporator fan and board - May 21st parts arrived set install appointment for May 30th - May 30th tech arrived and inspected installed board and not the fan taking it with him saying it should be fine but don't put any food in it for a few days. If it starts acting up call my cell phone and I will come back and install the fan. Three days later refrigerator started failing again called his cellphone no answer and no call back. - June 3rd or 4th call for another appointment. The are to busy can get there until the 11th - June 11th text received and minutes later tech called as we were on the way. He rudely stated we would have to reschedule he was to busy. I call for another appointment and as I am on the phone I get and email documents from your visit. Stating inspected unit nothing found. I lost it #1 The man was NEVER in my house to inspect the refrigerator to close out the case. #2 I have cameras and I have no evidence that he ever showed up. Sears would not authorize a rental until after that visit and guess what I had to wait another week for this appointment today. See information above on rental authorization. I am at five weeks and two more weeks before anything more will be done. I have spent numerous times on the phone dealing with this none of which were less than 30 minutes to get the run around time and time again. I have Never rated anything negatively before but when I have had to be on the phone approximately 10 times which is approximately five hours something needed said.

If I could put a zero rating I would. I have spent 2-3 hours on the phone dealing with this. They still can't seem to e-mail me a receipt. They keep giving the techs the wrong Model Number, Serial Number, and even Manufacturer of my fridge/freezer. I have provided this information with every call I have made to them and they have even doubted me on the phone trying to make me feel like an idiot! I know what brand, model, and serial number I have! Ice maker still not fixed and tech cannot order proper parts because Sears still has it as a Kenmore even though they have been out here twice for a KitchenAid. Says I need to call Sears...this is another 45 minute phone call!!! I am able to receive all "survey" e-mails but not any important ones such as receipts and Appointment confirmations. Hold times take too long. Dealing with customer service reps who don't speak English has become beyond tiresome. I will NEVER use them again. It's sad because we had used them for years..
