Front of house staff is extremely rude because of under staffing. I’ve been a customer here before and won’t be returning. You need to make your signage clearer. Came in for a walk in service and the grooming team was too under staffed to take walk ins today so a sign was put up stating to “see an associate to make an appointment.” When I went to speak to an associate about making an appointment I was told they “don’t make appointments for walk-ins.” When I asked about the sign, the employee became snippy and repeated they were short staffed and can’t do walk ins and to come back tomorrow. If your team is understaffed, then make better signage to explain that walk ins are maybe closed rather than see an associate to be rudely talked down to.

DOGPerfect is now our place to take our dog. He gets groomed by Katie who makes DOGPerfect a perfect place. If you want your dog pampered bring them here I highly recommend them. Thank you DOGPerfect!

The shops near the intersection of busy State Road 70 and Lakewood Ranch Boulevard have been steadily developing during the past year or two. I was very glad to see DOGPerfect arrive here, as I previously shopped two different smaller, local pet supply shops that unfortunately both closed. Recently, I stopped by this location as I saw they sell Fromm's cat food, which is very high quality. The shop was bright, well organized, clean, and had a huge assortment of dog foods and products. If you have a canine companion, you'll undoubtedly find what you need here. They also offer grooming services, though I think this may be only for dogs. That's unsurprising, of course, given the shop name. I was very pleased that DOGPerfect offers a small but ample selection of cat products, to include the specific food I mentioned. I paid $22 for a 5-pound bag of Fromm's, which is reasonable to me considering when I previously found it at a now closed shop back around 2018 it ran for $18, and we all know how prices have soared in 2021 and 2022. The staff here were very friendly, and they have a loyalty program with perks. In sum, DOGPerfect is a welcome addition to the Lakewood Ranch retail scene. They offer high quality product at fair prices. I'll definitely keep coming back!

I don't go to many pet stores, let alone any dedicated to particular kinds of animals, but recently having taken on guardianship of a friend's dog I stopped in here. Being a homeless disabled veteran currently living out of my car, and Cooper easily being 130 lbs things are a bit difficult for me. After hearing my situation, Kelly was extremely helpful along with the some food and let me bathe him as well as trimmed his nails. I couldn't recommend a better place to go for all things DOG and will be back soon!

Absolutely the cutest and best organized pet store I have ever seen! They have ANYTHING you need right on the shelf. If you are a dog owner you must stop in and see for yourself. You can wash your dog yourself or Dayana the groomer. Bernice and Corrin are also very helpful and Megan can answer any questions you may have. My favorite it the doggie donuts 🍩 ❤️

Got my dog Obi groomed here for the first time today, have had bad experiences with groomers in the past so I usually groom him myself but decided to give them a try. They were wonderful! Super understanding of what I was asking and his needs, everyone was so kind to us. Obi looks amazing and we will for sure be going back!
