What a find. This place was great I travel all over the country and go to lots of restaurants. The food was fabulous, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was to die for. The gator was the best I've ever had in any restaurant. We took a crew of 12 there and had the best time of the summer. Thank you Gator Joe's Beach bar for a wonderful evening and anytime we're in the Ocala area we are coming again!

Good place with an awesome atmosphere! We had a party of more than 6, and they were very accommodating to our party. Our waitress was Ashley and she was amazing! You can pull your boat up or enjoy some swimming while there.

I had a great day with my Young Man; Devin (DFW pro-cleaning) and my Daughter; Ashley, (forget the extra).I probably would have been working on crafts if they had not suggested the water break. The exercise was better than sitting still 😊. Canoeing on the Lake was the icing on the cake 🎂.

The shrimp was good and not heavily not many fries in the basket. The hush puppies were good also. The gator tail was heavily breaded so you really didn't taste the gator The cheeseburger was good but again not many fries Our server has very little personality and was not attentive at all. The atmosphere was nice out on the dock. Not sure on a return trip

Absolutely perfect! Great service. Tyler was a great waiter. The entire staff was very friendly. Meal was very good to. For those that like Eaton's well Gator Joe has a perfect Lake view & cheaper prices. Everything was spot on. No waiting long periods for meal or drinks & they were busy.

First visit. Beautiful location, excellent atmosphere. loved the view. +++ Took 45 min to get food after it was ordered. (-1 star) Wings were decent, served at room temp. A chicken sandwich was ordered, absolutely way to chewy, guessing it was microwaved a couple times before it was delivered, or overcooked. (-1 star) Honestly, I'm so tired of hearing "we're short staffed". When I see employees standing around, to me, that means they have nothing to do. Not sure if it was our server that's responsible for the slow delivery so I'm not going to put it on her, but I will certainly put the fault on the management. Either they aren't paying attention to operations or they haven't trained their servers properly. Stop using the BS pandemic as an excuse for everything, take responsibility for your job. GM should know better and care more.
