Stopped in for a restroom break. Figured we would give the bbq a try. Sadly, the beef brisket looked like beef pot roast, tasted like pot roast and fell apart like pot roast. I have worked in bbq for 20 years I know what brisket looks like. The bread was awsome though.

The service was very good! Our server was sweet & thoughtful. Unfortunately the mac & cheese was KRAFT mac & cheese and it was an up-charge as a side. Brisket was mainly fat and was also an up-charge ): The restaurant was a mess with boxes on top of some the tables. Overall, this is standard for a BBQ pit attached to a gas station

Stopped in today to try this place out. Found a hair in my pulled pork sandwich and stopped eating at that point. For the price I expected better BBQ.Would not recommend.

Barbecue was overpriced for what you get, and was OK, but the place is not OK. I don't know who Jim is, but apparently he never learned that it is best to keep his political and social agenda out of the place where he does business with the general public at large. I ordered my food and went to the counter to pay only to be faced with signs and stickers letting me know that people like me are not wanted in here. I ate my food feeling uncomfortable and left. There are other good barbecue places in Florida where the brisket is not served with a big heaping side of hatred and intolerance.

Had the Brisket dinner with bbq baked beans. Unfortunately they were out of coleslaw. The Brisket was to die for and the baked beans were phenomenal. The staff were courteous and attentive. Waitress came back several times to ask if everything was ok. The Bbq sauce on the tables is good but nothing to brag about. Great place will definitely be back.

There was very little selection of food items in the gas station part of the store and what was there was horribly overpriced. Not only that, but when I stopped to get gas and then began fueling, I found out that the gas sign they have outside of their store was very wrong about how much they were charging me and paid more for gas than what was advertised. Apparently another reviewer said the same about the gas. There are better places to stop to get gas and better places to get a quick snack. Avoid this place.

Great, real Texas-style brisket. I would highly recommend the Brisket sandwich! It’s the best Texas brisket I have found in Florida. Always remember Exit 368 and stop here whenever we can on our way through.

The location is right off turnpike so it seemed like a good stop. A little wait for food even as the cook left the kitchen went into the store section and grabbed himself a beer. The pork is not pulled but sliced, sauce tasted like ketchup and I was given 2 bun tops not a complete bun

If you see this spot and you're craving BBQ...Keep riding pass this. This is by far the grossest tasting food my family and I experienced while leaving Florida. The sauce was nasty and the potato salad tasted like pure mayo. I wasted $12 when I could've stayed over at Wendy's and ate their 4 for $4. At least I would've known the food would be excellent there instead of Jim's Pit. Close this place down... Immediately!!! It doesn't deserve one damn star!
