Good place, friendly helpful staff. An old school corner liquor store, carries most of the usual brands you would expect, has lottery tickets too. I'm betting you they are the oldest continually operating liquor store in Ruskin, South Hillsborough county area. I can remember going in here with my father many many years ago to buy scotch.

Very small but have good brands in stock. If you are looking for a rare drink this is probably not the place to look. The cashier was actually very helpful. I already had my drink but wanted to try something different. The suggest fireball but I already know im not a fan of it, and ended up getting a version of tequila not a fan of it either but it wasn't bad. Again it was to try it out and they willingly assisted.

what can i say, i have been visiting this place for the past 7-8 years on a weekly/ bi monthly basis. i have heard my fair share of issues from patrons who no longer go there. due to convenience and never having a negative personal experience, i continued to support. but hey, i guess it was a matter of time before something happened to me. i purchased my regular bottle of spirits, remind you that i purchase at least every other week. 42.99. i have casual conversation with the worker who is always there when i go at night. i gave my card without being told price as it's nothing new same bottle different day, but looks on receipt and noticed a price significantly higher than what im normally charged. before signing, i let employee know, this is not correct. he tells me this is the price. we go back and forth and i tell him, i get the same thing, im never charged this price. he proceeds, well this is the price now. even after i show him on the aisle the price displayed 42.99, he tells me, well, it's plus tax. remind u that i was charged 59.99 for something i have been charged 42.99 for last few years. when i asked how 59.99 comes from 42.99 plus tax. he proceeds to continue to repeat himself as a kid would do when they are wrong. only words he kept repeatimg was "plus tax." now i feel my intelligence is insulted, so i then asked for a refund, he tells me no refunds. the store have a no refund policy. i ask where is the sign that shows no refunds? as he looks around at the many different signs taped everywhere, none of the signs shows no refunds. now he says, he can't refund, he don't know how, i have to come in the a.m when owner is there. i work 50 mins away, i will never have the time to come in a.m to speak with owner, at this point, it's the principle not the monetary amount which is the bigger issue. the employee took his stance, he would not honor price displayed which is same price for last year or so, or refund me. at this point i was overcharged approx $17.00. i will never step another foot in thay place and please know i will go out my way to be sure none of my peers step a foot in there either. this story will be on social media and the money they have made off of me, from the years of support, this will cost them waaayyy more in potential sales in the long run. its not right how people feel they can treat you any type of way just bc they can and there wiill not be any repercussions. social media/internet/videos have all changed those days. even if its only one person deterred from my post, (im more than sure it will be more than 1) it will have an impact on future business in some way/shape/form. this is why its hard to support small business. no one to answer to. i will drive 5 mins further to publix, at least i can get a manager there when employees want to feel they are dictator. its sad
