We ordered ahead online since we were passing through on our road trip. We got the hummus plate, caprese salad, and a tasty sandwich. There is a tiny dog-friendly patio out front but all 3 tables were taken. We took our to-go order to a park down the street.

When you're looking for restaurants in Clayton the first to pop up is always Fortify Pi. Now I understand why. I'm always afraid of getting a tasteless cheesy doughy mess that's burned on the bottom. Could not have been further from my fears with this place!! I ordered a my pi with pesto base, pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple. The crust was thin and cooked perfectly all the way around to the crust. The pesto sauce was like I made it at home! The whole thing was a flavor explosion in my mouth! I had to go a thank the chefs myself. And our server Ben was also very helpful and the perfect amount of attentive without being over bearing. I will definitely be back and I'm trying the calamari next time!! Thanks y'all 🙂

Good stuff, if it were closer to me it would be in the regular rotation. Still, first any time I am in Clayton. Pizza is the focus and it's well done. They put the work in on the appetizers as well. Fried mozzarella is usually food service cheese sticks and tomato sauce but here it seems to be large cut slices, panko breading and a home made marinara. Good stuff, great setting.

My husband and I placed a to-go order here on a Sunday night. They were quite busy, but the staff was friendly. We ordered the wings without sauce, but had the Pi Buffalo, maple bourbon and honey garlic on the side. All were very good, but the Pi Buffalo was by far our favorite. We ordered a small pizza with chicken, onions, steak and garlic. The pizza was incredible and you can tell the quality of the ingredients was very high. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Fortify Pi is the ideal place in Clayton for a great meal, some cold, local brews and sweet treats. The bar is large and comfortable, so having a casual dinner seated at the bar is perfect. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, there's just something about the crust that is incredible. And the wings are the best in town. Bourbon bacon jam bbq sauce, need I say more!!!

Good pizza, reasonable prices, cool vibe inside, and good service. The crust seemed slightly undercooked, but it was still really good. One downside is they won't let you do any half and half pizzas, the entire pizza has to be exactly the same.

Excellent experience. Kind, hard working staff. Babagonoush was really good, just needed more salt and garlic in my opinion. The pizza was delicious. Food came out quickly but we did not feel rushed. Thank you!

Delicious! Best Buffalo wings I've ever had. Great choices of craft beer. Friendly staff. Fast service. It's a small place but it really is sooo good.
