We got there 15 minutes after closing because we didn’t realize what time they closed. We were going to find somewhere else but they insisted on sitting us! Our server Joseph was incredible. Definitely some of the best service experiences my boyfriend and I have had at a restaurant. He had great suggestions and brought us out of our comfort zone with food choices but was totally worth it. The food is next level: professional, creative, and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Clayton again.

Wonderful restaurant with a relaxed vibe and filled with people who care about the experience. The food was fantastic, the cocktails delicious, but the employees are what make this a must visit.

Wow! Let's start with the service - it was impeccable! George paced our table perfectly and his menu knowledge was on point. The young lady server assistant was great too - both were friendly and engaging and upheld excellent table maintenance. Very impressive! A nice little cocktail menu, we really enjoyed the Lonely Cactus, it was hard not to drink it too quickly lol. The food was wonderful. The bread basket with duck fat butter was a nice treat. The Gouda fritters were gooey deliciousness! My halibut dish was flavorful and cooked beautifully. The SW creamed corn had a lovely fresh corn sweetness. The balsamic honey ice cream was unique and a perfect way to end the meal. All in all, just a really wonderful experience.

Interesting place with enjoyable atmosphere. Wait staff was motivated and polite. We ate the peach soup and compressed watermelon as starters with chicken and filet as the main. Chicken was very flavorful and cooked well. Steak was lean and tender and appropriately sized. Menu is creative and changes pretty often. Recommend for a romantic meal.

Joseph our server was amazing!!! He had great recommendations while providing attentive and detailed service to our family of four. The food was great, we had artichoke and collard dip (more veggies than cheese which was guilt free). Usually apps like this barely have any vegetables and are more cheese and fillers...not the case here. My husband had the steak which was THE BOMB and I had the snapper which was also delish. Wine was on point and atmosphere and service was great. Didn't expect such a gem in such a small town. We are already discussing eating there again for brunch while we are visiting.

Delicious every step of the way. Our service wasn’t all there tonight but it was busy and I appreciate the effort. The food was delicious. I recommend the fried green tomatoes appetizer with the gulf shrimp. The trout and steak were delicious! We wrapped up dinner with the crème brûlée with fresh berries and whipped cream. Look no further for delicious food in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere in Clayton, Ga.

Service was fast. Our waitress explained the menu and specials very well. Ambience is nice. The bar struggled with my old fashioned but it was okay overall. Fried oysters were.. interesting. The Cesar chopped salad was a good appetizer portion and the candied bacon was a nice touch. The shrimp, sausage, and chicken was amazing. My guest had scallops and enjoyed them. Overall it was a nice evening dining out.

Didn’t expect fine dining in the hinterlands of North Georgia, but here it is. Excellence from service to cuisine to presentation. We started with brut bubbly. The wine list has something for everyone. I had rainbow trout with okra and corn. Superb! My wife had shrimp and grits and loved it. It was the usual fare with an added twist of including a fine piece of chicken. The bread is fresh and had savory bread straws with it. No room for dessert but it looked good at the surrounding tables. My fish was so fresh I suggested maybe wild bears catch it for them. They said they do, but they’re trained - not wild.

My husband and I went for the first time for our anniversary. The fried green tomatoes with grilled shrimp are a must. The grits are creamy, the tomatoes crunchy, and the shrimp cooked perfectly. We had the lobster tail and filet mignon...yum! The collard greens with bacon melted in your mouth.. We finished the meal with the bourbon flourless chocolate cake and the orange creme brule (tastes like a dreamsicle). Cannot wait to go back again!
