They don't carry even what the small grocery stores have and never have the GV products stocked Thanksgiving week they ran out of frozen and graham cracker pieshells,sage,butter,even tubs of marjorin spread . It's recommended to take a trip to Dawsonville to insure you get everything you need on your grocery list

The store layout is awful. It was easier to find things before the remodel. There's only one to two cashiers at any time and mostly self checkout. I don't work for Walmart so the fact there's not many cashiers bugs me. Plus since they have remodeled there is no longer a jewelry counter which means people can no longer buy watch batteries and have them installed. The only jewelry available there is cheap stuff which is a shame because a couple of years ago I bought my mother a pair of diamond earrings for Christmas that were very reasonably priced . The Cleveland Walmart is better in selection and the Dawesonville Walmart is even better than that. If they were going to remodel they should have made it more like those stores, especially Dawesonville. Walmart used to be the cheap alternative for buying goods and groceries but no more. Local stores are cheaper and more personable.

My AirPods fell out of my pocket while I was shopping and one of the employees thankfully found it and keep it safe at customer service. When I called about my AirPods when I found them missing, the employee was kind and let me know they had them and let me pick them up. I thanked them profusely. The employees were so kind and are so wonderful!

Worst customer service ever in the grocery delivery department. Placed a $400 order. Never delivered. Manager Eric said he couldn't see the order in the system, yet 4 items were delivered to my home from it? And I approved the substitutions...AND the meat and vegetables were weighed in the store and listed on the order online⁉️ Never recieved the other $375 worth of items. Said he would call corporate and "get right back to me".... 3 days later and I'm still waiting... Oh... And they charged my credit card for $400‼️ Had to go through corporate to have order cancelled and money refunded. That's called theft, Walmart. Shame on you. Disgusted.

This was the cleanest walmart I’ve seen in all my life. The people were nice and the customer service was amazing! Everything was in stock and everything was clean.

Always great customer service. My only complaint is why on earth yall put the SLOWEST employe on the main register (tobacco). It took forever to check out today.

I love my Dahlonega Walmart and it’s people but today, June 25,2022 about 6pm. I needed help at the self check out, there was a cashier standing behind some clothes, peeping on I don’t know who but saw me standing there needing help and just ignoring me. She could have signaled to someone or “ broke her cover 😊😊😂😂” that wasn’t any good another’s anyways. Customer service people

I had a very good experience for this Walmart. There were two items I could not find and what I asked staff person, they directed me right to it! Very friendly staff. I ordered some fried chicken from the deli. It was very good. The breast was not dry. We also had potato wedges and fried okra. Both were very good. There are parking places out front for pick up. The store was clean and well-stocked

Standard Walmart. Clean and well organized. Good selection. Happy they have a Subway restaurant inside. They also have firearms available. Good ammonia selection usually. Good garden center during gardening seasons. They have a redbox too. New self checkouts too.
