Friendly service provided. We were able to get a quote and a scheduled time within a day or two. They stayed true to their quote and estimated time of completion of our vehicle. There are only two guys and I'm impressed at how much they get done.

These people are good for you if you are their friends. I took my 2002 Honda there because it was running hot they charged me almost as much to fix the car as what I paid for it. And guess what? It's still running hot I really don't recommend this place. Service: Engine repair

Horrible no communication before he puts a part on just expects you to come up with the money or make a payment arrangement!! No tears but how you do it!! Still think he's the one who broke it and double charged me for so no I do not recommend him. Sorry it turned out this way but my whollleeee 1 month experience with yall was horrible...

Best shop around best prices too. I lost brakes in my 2004 avalanche late at night on I 75. After towing to a shop that wouldn’t help me. Most shops in the area wouldn’t even work on it because of rust. Robert had no problem towing me to his shop and starting as soon as possible one day getting pats and soaking the bad lines. Another day Replacing all the old lines and back caliper. And I was back on the road to Florida. I can’t thank these guys enough. Lifesaver.

Robert, owner/mechanic, is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, HONEST, and patient. He will never try to sell you something that you don't need, but he will remind you when you will need any kind of routine maintenance or replacement parts so that you dont break down on the side of the road. His pricing on oil changes are so low that I dont believe he even makes any money, however, it's because of this that his customers return time and time again for everything else. I have absolutely nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for him. Most mechanics lie to women in order to charge them more than men and work with their competitors to price fix repairs so that everyone will believe the repair they need actually costs an arm and a leg...NOT Robert! I was actually quoted around $150 to replace the O2 sensor on my car by 3 different mechanics in Jackson, but Robert ordered and installed it for just under $50.

Stay away of that place . They keep changing prices using the desperate of the need of your vehicle. At the end they gave me the last price but they manipulate the debit machine and accept a YES 3 times to overcharge ypu another fee . That's so illegal and very unprofessional and won't recommend this s place to my worst enemy. Service: Transmission

Great place! Robert is genuine and his rates are very fair and reasonable. They work on more things than I thought and I plan on sending all my car repairs to them. Great place and friendly. You won't be disappointed.

We had a wheel bearing put on my daughter's car (college student) at another auto shop. My daughter's 1st car. We was still having problems (broke down on75) after the new wheel bearing was installed. We then assumed it was the brakes. (Owner said the car need brake pads and wheel bearing prior to the purchase) We took the car to Brake South and was told the previous auto shop DID NOT install the wheel bearing properly. We had the car towed to the other shop. Once the wheel bearing was fixed, we then took it back to Southside Brakes. They were nice enough to make minor adjustment to the wheel bearing/bracket to stop the minor grinding noise, which should have been done by the other shop. Now finally we are getting the BRAKE job done! Greatly appreciate honest mechanic I highly recommend if you're haveing auto problems. #honesty
