Froze my debit card for no reason. Not even due to suspicious charges. Been on hold for over an hour on a Monday during business hours. Terrible service

Bank of Hawaii is truly the worst. Not the staff just the culture. Why have 5 teller stations when the norm is 3 max. Oh and try to call and get someone on the phone. Good luck..... better dedicate your day to it....

Was on hold for 45 minutes at 10 a.m. on a Monday and nobody answered. Called the customer service number, they put me on hold for another 20 minutes before I just hung up. Called the Long's Drugs the bank is inside of and they said they weren't able to transfer me to the bank. Ridiculous.

Honestly this is the worst bank I have banked with. Everything is so inconvenient. To begin the mobil app sucks. If you lose your credit card they will try to charge you a $20 replacement fee and they will keep you on the phone for about an hour because that is the only way to report your lost or stolen card. Do your self a favor and do some research before you choose to bank with a local bank.

The after hours is appreciated because some of us work until 5pm. Fast service though and friendly staff. Also their new ATM is very helpful to cut down the wait in line can make deposits to your checking or savings using your debit/credit card. So that was a good move on BoH.
