I had auto insurance with them and home insurance, I always prepay for six months in advance. last month when I went to prepay my monthly cost went from $68 to $110 I had emailed them that day to see if they could look at it and be competitive and they said no . I had a fender bender back in January but otherwise have nothing on my record and my insurance doubled! So much for their commercials saying your rate wont go up from your first accident. So I quoted other companies and got a quote from progressive for $75. I cancelled my Insurance 9-27 and was still charged $110 on October 1st. I called to ask for a refund the next day and the lady said a check would be mailed a few business days later. Today (10/13/16) I called since I haven't seen anything. This lady told my it was sent out yesterday but then said it was deposited to my bank account? I told her I check my bank account every morning and I was not there. I told her I could sent over my bank statement and she kind of laughed? She treated me like I was an annoyance and said to call back Monday if I don't see anything. For an insurance company you think they would have better service. Very disappointing, I will be cancelling my home insurance soon as well. Very disappointing service especially when I was trying to support a local insurance company. If this were my business I would consider customer service classes for my employees.

I'm not sure what else I can say about this guy, but I would not do business with him. I rented an office from him/his company (Ventura Executive Office Suites) for a few years. I was never late on rent and was certainly not a difficult tenant. He represented himself as an owner and was fine when I dealt with him. I moved out in January of 2014 and never received my rent deposit back. After completely forgetting about the deposit, I called him in late July to inquire about it. Over the course of about three weeks I left him at least 10 messages. I was courteous in every message I left. He never returned my calls. Finally, he blocked my number from calling his office. Why? I had never been angry or anything with my messages. I called more than one time in a day once (I called twice), so I hardly think I could have been harassing him. If he bankrupted the company or simply did not have the money to pay me back it would have been fine. Just be a man and call me back to tell me. But why never a call back? It could have been so simple to just communicate. I would have been fine hearing that they were out of money or simply could not pay. A response from him or someone could have handled this just fine. After more than 3 weeks of calls and messages (and now to Clark two business partners), one of his business partners called me back and said that Clark was an active partner in the business and had no idea why Clark would not respond. To date, I have not received the money and likely will not. No big deal, but again, why not just own up to whatever it was and call me back? Clark is in the business of investing and handling people's money and risk. Would you give him your money? Do you think he could look at you in the eyes if things go awry?
