Always have a great experience getting a haircut here. I’ve worked with a couple different hair professionals with great results. I’ve recently started bringing my son, who is a toddler. They do great with him too.

Floyd’s Barbershops have been my go-to for haircuts from Long Beach to Brooklyn: but of all their locations, Evanston is my favorite. The shop’s amplified rocker attitude and DIY aesthetic complement its motley crew of expert stylists and welcoming staff. The boisterous and gregarious atmosphere they set always leaves me looking forward to my next cut. Floyd’s rocks, they rock hard (till the break of dawn); but at the end of the day, it’s the unparalleled hospitality and talent of their stylists that genuinely makes the difference. -- Shoutout to Kevin in Evanston!!! Not only a paragon of virtue and par excellence in style, but a beacon of authenticity in a world full of mauvaise foi. Service: Scissor cut

Twice I have been to this branch of Floyds and the second time the stylist didn’t listen to what I asked for (a very light trim) I left with every short hair which I hate. Never going back. Service: Haircut

Moderately priced services which are performed with care, attention to detail, and the way the customer wants in a friendly manner. They always make me feel welcome here - I love coming here to get my hair cut! 10/10, highly recommended! Services: Buzz cut, Shampoo & conditioning

Kevin K. at the Evanston location does a great job for my family’s cuts. I love the convenience of online scheduling at Floyd’s, there’s rarely a long wait, and I appreciate the fact that it doesn’t take an hour or more for a quality cut. Service: Haircut

I got a free haircut here since there was a new worker there and they needed a model. While it didn't go as planned the service was very nice and gave me a complimentary haircut so I came here to give it 5 stars since it went well and the final product was still good

While I liked my haircut (the styling was very nice), my hair was cut very unevenly. I did not notice it when my hair was wet, but when I came back home I saw long strands of hair sticking out of my mid-length bob. I live quite far away, so I cannot come there for a trim, and will have to find another place to even it out. I had a really good experience the previous time, and would really hope that this was a one off experience. Service: Haircut

Ok service and atmosphere, too expensive. This place has a unique atmosphere with all the walls cover with music posters, black tiling and steel (not really my taste but that's fine). They have multiple stations (like Sport Clips Haircuts) with a "personal" sink and a chair that can turn 360° (a feature that was kind of weird since some of the time I didn't had a mirror to look at). I was quickly assigned to a baber and went to her station. My barber was nice and did the job, but it seems that she lack the confidence and I felt every one of her comb strokes 😖. Since it was my first time I got some product poured on my hair and a shoulder massage (both are unnecessary additions even if you're getting them free). The whole experience cost $26 (and with tip it's more than $30) which is way too much. There are maybe 4 better barber shops that are cheaper in 1-3 minutes walk from Floyd's, so I recommend going somewhere else.
