The manager of the store was very unprofessional. They wanted to rent the car to someone else and purposely gave our car away. I asked to talk to the managers boss. His response is that he has no boss, there’s no manager above him any issues I have I can call customer service. He then gave me a disconnected number. They do not where name tags and he said his name is “bob”. He had no last name….I would not recommend this location at all.

I love this location. I’ve never had an experience like any of these reviews. Thank god! I will say my last car wasn’t the cleanest. They never clean inside the windows, especially back seat windows. Also, could have wiped down the dirty mats a little better! But they are always friendly and helpful!

Dante has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Did not want to honor my corporate discount that both my husband and I have . Top 10 for horrible. He also hung up the phone on me. I will be calling corporate as well to see if they can track how unprofessional he was on the call.

This is the worst car rental experience I have ever had. I arrived at the location and the person working was in the office talking on his cell phone and ignored me for a while. Once he finally came out, he told me that they did not have the car I reserved and would have to have an upgrade. Unlike every other car rental agency in the world, they forced me to PAY for the upgrade I did not want which added $15 per day to a week long rental. In addition, my reservation was non-refundable so I was forced to pay the upgrade or else lose the entire reservation (about $450). Will be reporting this to the BBB.

The reviews are bad for a reason. 1 star reviews from multiple individuals and that should be enough for you to rent a car from somewhere else. I had to switch out cars twice and I had some unresolved billing issues. The second car I was given had the permanent stench of smoke that lasted for the couple of weeks the car was in my possession. I even changed the cabin filter and the stench was still there. Both Cars had bald tires and I had a flat on 2 occasions. I honestly don't know if Avis corporate is paying attention to these reviews, but I plan on moving forward with the better business bureau and Avis Corporate Office because that store manager is USELESS.

We usually do not usually leave any reviews but this time we could not let that pass. Our experience with this AVIS rental location was TERRIBLE and we want you to AVOID renting from this place! We have booked a car and waited for 1 hour just to pick it up. Once we got the car, it was absolutely disgusting: the car was smelling smoke and alcohol badly, the mats were full of sand and dirt, the trunk was full of salt, and there was dirt all over the dashboard. We found a box of cookies and fries under our seat....The guy at the front desk, who was really RUDE and unprofessional, rushed us to take the keys and sign the contract without giving us the time to check the inside and outside of the car. We also found out the transponder for the toll roads was not working and we got charged for it, we are waiting to get reimbursed. When we called the rental location, they suggested us to clean the car ourselves and that we would get a refund for the cleaning. This is unacceptable, especially during COVID times. Additionally, we were asked to do curb side pick-up for COVID reasons while the workers themselves were going in and out from the rental location without any masks. When we returned the car, the same rude guy (tall guy with glasses) tried to charge us for the non working transponder and continued to be unprofessional and rude. We attach all the pictures below so you can see yourself how terrible their rentals are.... Too bad there is no ZERO STAR...Absolutely AVOID renting from this branch!

I’ve rented from this location in the past and the rental has been decent. This time not so much. The car had damage to the exterior. The interior looked and smelled gross. Since I had prepaid and really needed a vehicle I took it anyway. As soon as I got home I wiped every inch of the inside with Clorox wipes. I didn’t even want to put my kids inside. I won’t ever be back to this location. I’m debating on if I’d ever rent from Avis again based on this experience. I went to Hertz after I took this one back and couldn’t be happier.

I had a really good experience with a last-minute rental from this location. I wanted to do a curbside pickup rather than having to go inside during COVID, and Jay was extremely helpful and accommodating. He took my credit card and ID from me outside and helped make it work. The car was clean and it was such an easy pick up. Thank you so much! Would definitely rent from here again.

This branch reminds me of a similar location at Sacramento avis where I waited (2 weeks ago) for 2 hours in line! Waiting outside is not so bad...At least it is not raining. These guys don't care about updating their customers. There are 5 of us just waiting patiently for 1.5hrs. Someone just returned a car and the same car was just taken out by another customer. Aren't they supposed to wash and vacuum every returned car?

Avis is Avis. You go through the usual steps and get a vehicle. Unfortunately I got a very dirty vehicle that at first smelled like a wet dog but later after the sun came out I noticed the filth. I took plenty pictures and reported it to Avis corporate office because nobody answered the phone there in Evanston. I still haven't gotten a response from Avis. Three weeks later. Hopefully this review will get their attention. CLEAN YOUR VEHICLES.
