I have mixed experience with the quality of the work but for now I’ll keep it at 5 stars because my first visit was fantastic. It’s clean and well organised, love that I can make an appointment online and I don’t have to wait around. They use a gentle wax which is great, although I find that the results don’t last as long as with a less gentle wax (but way less painful for sure). Nicole was great.

The waxes are okay, meaning they get the hair removed. But it is not great service. They don't use practices such as disposable paper on bed or just the common courtesy of not watching me dress/undress. I've gone here about 10 times over the last couple of years, have seen maybe 10 aestheticians; and had same subpar experience from each. For the best wax experience (product, attention to detail from aesthetician, and great service) go to Mario Tricoci across the street. More expensive but worth it. I only come here if Mario Tricoci is booked solid.

I received an eyebrow wax today. The person thinned out and shortened one eyebrow so much that there is no way to fix it. I’m very disappointed. I come here all the time under last name Filipovic. This was the first time this happened. I’m super embarrassed

I really enjoyed coming here for my first time. The process of making the appointment and coming in was very organized and very easy to do. The front desk staff were also very sweet, which helped me feel more comfortable, as I am not used to going to get waxes frequently. And the waxer that I had made the process less awkward and really comfortable. I found my place where I will be getting Brazilian waxes for now. Thank you to the staff of the European wax center.

I have always wanted to try European Wax Center and I finally did, it was worth every second. The staff greeted with joy and mentioned the membership that helps save a good amount of money. My waxer talked the whole time about taking care of yourself after the wax! I love the products for ingrown hair. I'll definitely be back Services: Body waxing, Bikini waxing

To begin, I called them to ask if they did walk-ins, and they responded that they have time available for walk-ins. I was also told that they were able to take me in the next 20 minutes, and I was happy they had time for a walk-in service. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. But, I was seated and told to wait 30 minutes, after waiting, I asked how much longer I have to wait. The staff opened and checked the back door one by one and was in and out. It was really weird and strange. Another customer came in and she was seated as well. However, this time the receptionist told her wait 10 minutes but I was told to wait 30 minutes and I was here before her?? If they couldn’t take me on time or in the 30 minutes I was told to wait, why couldn’t they just tell me a different time when I was asking about walk-in services?? If I want to book and schedule an appointment, I could have done it over the phone and not come in just to be told to reschedule and come in another time. Waste of time! To add, it seemed as if they wanted me to come in and book another day and not take me today. I waited for an immense amount of time and I wasted so much time waiting. Do not waste other people’s time. Terrible walk-in service enough though they said they had time for walk-ins.

I arrived at 3:08 for a 3:15 appointment. Someone else came in at 3:30 and was seen right away. I asked when it would be my turn and the girl asked me to wait ten more minutes as there was a computer glitch. I was seen at 3:40. The experience really was not enjoyable. The waxer did not talk, and took many many times to wax the same strip of hair. This was my first experience at a european waxing center and I really did not enjoy and will not be returning. I rarely leave reviews but I am so upset. This was my first time at the glenview location and I went to Jenny for a wax. I thought everything was fine until I tried to check the areas I got waxed. I was rushed out of the room because she had another client. When I got home I checked and there was still hair everywhere. It was such a poor job and she peeled my skin off from going over the area too many times! I gave her a great tip and now I regret it. I would never go back there. I’m incredibly frustrated and I don’t ever write bad reviews so I honestly feel bad in saying this, but this is messed up. I made an appointment about a month ago to get a Brazilian before I leave before I leave for vacation and I arrive at 9:00am and they tell me they can’t take me because the wax is not hot enough yet. I understand that they can’t see me because of the wax, however, it should be a policy that they get into work 15-ish minutes early so this doesn’t happen. They can’t let me wait because I would screw up the rest of her day. Well, my day is screwed. Now, I’m stressed because I have to take care of this before I leave. I’m so disappointed and frustrated - I have no words.

I have been a member for the past 6yrs and come for only one service. I have frequented a total of 3 different locations and one in a state other than Illinois. This Glenview location is considered my "home location" and I have noticed a lot of turnover the past couple of years, besides COVID-19. I definitely miss my last esthetician and it is difficult to find another good one. 5-Stars for the first few years and 3.5 to 4-ish Stars now.
