This is an EMERGENCY hospital only. It's like an emergency room but for pets. They are open over night only. (5pm - 8am). You must find another place to take your pet by 8am. They are open all weekend. Their purpose is to stabilize your pet with x-rays, stitches, setting bones, oxygen, etc. Unfortunately, I've had to use their services 3 times over the years. While the doctor has never been the same, each of them are kind and understanding. The fees are reasonable. ($125 for the assessment) My latest visit was to accompany my friend with is senior dog with heart failure that became gravely ill. He decided to put her down. It is very sad time. The cost was $245 and included cremation.

First time dog owner and took my dog here for an injury after our dog was attacked by an unknown dog on the sidewalk. The male vet who saw our dog was so unprofessional and acted like we were stupid for bringing our dog in for a couple of puncture wounds. Our dog was scared and barking and his first reaction was to bluntly state that our dog is aggressive and he probably won't be able to inspect him. I don't think any dog would be in a good mood after being attacked by a much larger dog, bleeding, then being taken to an unknown place. He was not at all sympathetic towards the situation. I'm more likely to drive to Animal Emergency Clinic of McLean County than to come here again if the emergency permits. The only upside to the place was it was less expensive than I was expecting.

After searching for an emergency clinic we drove almost 2 hrs to get my mother in law’s dog looked at. Everyone was great and they took very good care of him. Thank you to Dr. Jen and staff for putting my mother in law’s mind at ease.

Came in because our cat swallowed a piece of gum and we didn’t know what to do. Receptionist was extremely nice except for the vet (I’m assuming) who was in another office. She explained the situation to him and I guess he didn’t realize how loud he was that we overheard how rude and mocking he was to our situation. Considering this is an emergency hospital, he should be considerate of every situation and lower his voice if he’s going to be rude or better yet, just do his job and help.

We needed an emergency vet for our dog Bella, of course it was 1am on a Sunday. We had a good friend refer us to TCAEV. I can’t remember the tech’s name, but he met us and Bella and from that moment on we knew we were the right place. He treated us like we were the most important thing to him. Dr. Moskop came in to see Bella, examined her and told us what she thought in very plain terms. To say she was kind is an understatement. I can’t say enough about these people. I’m glad they caring for our girl.

What's the point of an EMERGENCY ROOM VET if they take 3 HOURS to even come see the cat. Our cat is very ill and they are in no rush or concern to help us. We have been waiting for over half an hour and continue to wait while our cat is in pain and could potentially be dying. They seem to only have one male doctor who is in no rush to help you. They also seem to prioritize other pets over yours. Don't come here, even for emergencies, because you won't get a visit in time. Even with a visit, the doctors don't seem to care here and it is very overpriced and sketchy. Sent us home wkth fluids and on our way. Idiots. Stay. Away.

I called and a gentleman was so incredibly helpful to let me know that it may be OK for my cat to come in tomorrow to his regular vet (he appears to have been in a fight overnight) and exactly what to look for where it would become an emergency. In these times it’s hard to get people to help without being paid and I can assure you that when I do have an emergency that requires an ER visit that this will certainly be the place I will come. Thank you for being so gracious and helpful for my little AJ.

Took my puppy in who was 7 weeks old (at the time)and acting very sick. The vet informed me he had 4 different worms, was anemic and might not make it. Thankfully the vet got us medicine and high calorie dog food. Jax is now 7 months old with lots of energy!

We unfortunately had to visit this animal for the first time last night due to our dog having an infection. Addison was a great receptionist and very helpful and informative I appreciate her very much the doctor which I didn't get her name but she had burgundy hair and she was very caring and listened so she knew exactly what she needed do to help my dog feel more comfortable. My Bella was running a fever and was in pain. It was $105 to see the doctor and then after the visit was over and everything was finished we ended up spending about $265 on medical services and two prescription. Definitely not how we wanted to spend our night but grateful that the hospital was open and I we were able to get our dog taken care of in this emergency situation.
