The food was great and the prices are good. I just docked one star because it took a really long time for us to actually get our food. Overall it's a great spot!

Yesterday a friend and I went for a small treat. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to this location. I was very disappointed. There was hardly anywhere to sit because so many tables were dirty. Staff took our order, they were somewhat friendly but, I kind of felt it was a bother to wait on us. I would have understood if they were understaffed but that was not the case. They were standing around and talking. I did hear one person say something about they needed to work as a team. They clearly were not and even watched one employee shake her head no about working as a team and make comments. Very disappointed in this, I will go elsewhere from now on. This is unfortunate, I have always loved going to Mary’s Market.

The selection is beautiful and tasty! The staff is friendly and polite. My miss on 5 stars is only that they didn't inform me that they were out of the sauce that was supposed to be on my sandwich. I would have just ordered an alternative had I known.

Your help definitely needs to be improved upon. An elderly gentleman came in to pick up his order and looked in the bag and told the cashier it was not his. The cashier said said to another employee that it wasn’t his order to which she VERY RUDELY replied , well you’re going to just have to wait while I check it out. She proceeded to walk away cursing the F word for every other word. The poor man looked like he was going to cry. I can’t believe you would allow such behavior from your employees. I watched the poor man stand there for about another 10 minutes or so before someone finally brought his order. I will never be back to your restaurant again. I’m a senior lady and if that had been me you can believe I would report it to at least a manager. Shame on you Mary’s mark. It wasn’t even crowded when my friend & I were there so they should not have messed up the gentleman’s order 😡😡😡😡 our food was subpar at best. Almost $15 for mine alone.

As I write this we have been waiting 30 minutes for our soups and salads, and another 10 for the other half of our orders and our forks to actually eat with. Lunch rush for a cafe seems to be hitting them harder than it should, seems like a kitchen issue. Food was alright, a bit overpriced and mediocre dining service. Go elsewhere if you are in a rush.

I love all the food at all the Mary's and the bbq salad here was great along with the tuna melt. But this one was really dirty, food all over the floor and dirty tables and no napkins to be found

Food is decent; prices are a little high. The place is dirty and run down like a majority of Rockford. We went during non-rush hours and there were employees standing around while there at least five tables full of dirty plates, glasses, and trash. Trash and old cups sitting on the ledge as well. We asked for one of our sandwiches to be made without the sauce and they put it on there anyways. Probably wouldn't return unless it was one of few options.

Always a pleasure getting food here. I normally always get soup and it delivered but I decided to go in person this time. Staff was super friendly and even gave me some recommendations.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Mary’s. I was disappointed in the filthy state of the restaurant today. The tables weren’t being bussed, the floor was full of crumbs, napkins, straws, bandaids, and other filth. The bathroom was gross. The food was average at best. Such a shame as it used to be a great place to eat delicious food.

Soooo good !! A pecan / veggie muffin and coffee. The sweet and wonderful cashier said: " let me heat this up for you !!" ..omg how wonderful !! 2nd time ever to this place as I moved here rather recently !!! Really excellent and nice employees !! XXOO
