I'm giving this place a 5 star review because my package was lost in transit for 2 weeks and the amazing employee named Francis helped me. Thankfully he was able locate my package and got it shipped back in my direction. This man deserves a raise for the amazing job he did. If you ever need help with something speak to him! This is very annoying I lived here for a couple years and I’ve talk to the postmaster twice the mail carriers I have no idea what they are doing they’ve left different mail in my mailbox and packages do they need glasses how could they mistake the address the numbers are in my name today I have a big envelope it’s not mine plus I don’t know if it’s different carriers that deliver my mail it seems like when it’s not one time it’s another they leave my mailbox door open with my mail in it it’s my own personal privacy and it’s left open right now I went to get my mail and it was wide open the mailbox and yesterday I got a package that’s not mine it’s a big envelope I am disabled I cannot go walking to the post office it’s on Kilburn Avenue and I live in Searles Avenue it’s a short distance but I have to use a cane and a walker I don’t have a car I was waiting for the mailman and due to my medication I got up after the mail had already ran I don’t know what to do

September 2021 I mailed 3 birthday cards going to 2 completely different states in which I handed them directly to a postal employee at the Kilburn post office and none of the cards were received.. There's a thief working for y'all.. I learned my lesson all future cards will be mailed outside of Rockford.. Sad.

Work post office in the United States. For over 2 years mail turns up missing and never shows up. Multiple pay check letters that were sent and never made it. Credit card that I get emails were shipped and never arrive . On average I’d say 20-30 mail it’s don’t make it to my house every year and the costumer service sucks at kilburn. Truly the biggest group of idiots you’ll find at Rockford usps. And there’s nothing you can do

I've had a check on my dashboard for a week now and nothing. I went in to check because I know it's there as the lady behind the counter acted like it was a huge inconvenience to do her job.she was complaining to another employee about me who I'm guessing said sonething threatening because she replied with no you don't have to do that. I'll handle it. The money theyre keeping from me it's a felony amount. I'm calling the police of its not in my mailbox Monday.

Covid doesn't have anything to do with one of your mail carriers delivering a package to the wrong address. That has to do with them not being fully trained. And the gentleman I talked to was not helpful at all, just keeps blaming covid because people are out sick and having to deliver 2 routes. I've done it so has many of my friends that have and still work for the post office. So he needs to find a different excuse.

Had a friendly interaction, however the lack of training on bulk mail pricing and procedures leaves a lot to be desired. I had to pay retail rate because they are inadequately trained to accept as a DDU. This will cost my business a lot of money on bulk mail as I had to pay six cents additional per piece. That may not sound like a lot but I usually send over 10,000 pieces at a time.

I am moving to Rockford tomorrow and I had a package mailed to my new address. I’m coming from Machesney Park. So Frances had absolutely no obligation to put my new last names on a note so that my mail doesn’t get returned as I mailed my official change of address today. She was kind. Reassuring. Patient. And just so nice. I’m a former Navy Postal Clerk of 11 years. Customer service is #1. She has it mastered. And her trainer Rob I believe his name was, he was exactly like her. He was so nice and very happy about my compliments. Postal clerks are often disregarded and not appreciated. When we get compliments it feels so good. All that hard work. Blood sweat and tears. Was all worth it and somebody recognized. So thank you. From this Navy Veteran. Thank you so very much both of you!!!!! I look forward to working with y’all!!!

They do not stop to pick up my outgoing mail if I do not have incoming mail. Also, It does not matter which driver I have (different almost every day), they pull up on an angle and drive straight through my yard on the way out. This is a ditch, so they know they are driving in grass! I was parking there, so they could not do it anymore. However, there was another car there last night, so I couldn't. They drove through my yard again today. I have tried calling the office, but nobody answers.

Mail carriers do not come down to my apartment to pick up outgoing mail. This has been a constant problem with this office as we have called multiple times about it. Granted one time they sent someone out so the rent could go out, but with it happening over and over again they close to early for this to always be solved that way. If we don't have mail being brought they don't even check.
