I have been a customer of the store for many years and purchased several items. Nick went above and beyond to help put together the perfect engagement ring for my daughter and her fiancé. After shopping around for weeks at the "chain" jewelry stores, we came back to International Diamond Company because of the great value and high quality of service. Buyer beware! They may easily RIP YOU OFF just like they did with me! And if you read the other reviews you will see I'm not the first customer whose expensive product was DAMAGED BY THEM. On June 26, 2022, I went to international diamond company store in Woodfield Mall, besides selling jewelry they also offer jewelry services. I asked them to set my one carat newly purchased perfect looking diamond in a ring and they charged me 75 dollars for this. On 07/02 I picked up the ring, the diamond was set. When I sat in my car and looked at the ring again under the day light I noticed that there was a lot of blemishes on the surface of the stone. When I got home I tried to clean them with alcohol it didn't help. On 07/03 I came back to the store to talk to their manager and explain that when I brought the stone to them it was perfectly polished, brand new, and I just purchased it about two weeks ago and was keeping it in the box. I explained that it was their jeweler who must have damaged the surface. He started to argue with me telling that it is not possible. I told him that it was perfectly possible and this was what had happened, you can damage diamond. Most likely his jeweler kept the black diamond for too long when he was cleaning it with ultrasound after sending the stone and because of the vibrations darker blemishes went out and became visible just right on the surface. Instead of fixing this issue at no extra cost or at least refunding the money to fix their own mistake he was arguing with me trying to tell me something which was not true thinking that I do not know anything about the diamonds. For example he started to talk about clarity of the black diamond, when black diamonds do not have clarity at all, they are black, they have color that's true, but they are not evaluated based on clarity and this can be read on Gemological Institute of America website that specialize on diamonds' certification. He was just lying to my face, he did not even made an attempt to amicably resolve this dispute. I purchased this diamond for for my mother's 50th anniversary worth of 3,000 dollars and now it looks like a dirty rock. The manger acted as an unscrupulous merchant who was not ready to stand behind the service that he provides. The picture represent how the diamond looks after I picked it up from them. When I brought it to them there were no blemishes, no spots at all.

My husband wanted to upgrade my rings for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Nick answered all our questions and made the process really easy. There customer service is great. I definitely recommend them. I added lots of pictures from different angles so you can see the size and beauty of the rings.

My husband and I wanted a customized engagement ring, we had specific wants and International Diamond Company was able to meet all of them and more. They are very knowledgeable about the stones, gold, and diamonds. They walked us through each step of the process from the ring molding to the CGI blue prints to the finalized ring! We are so pleased and even got my husband's platinum ring as well. No other diamond store provided such careful service. 10/10 would recommend if you want a beautiful unique ring.

My husband && I absolutely love this place!! They have amazing customer service && beautiful jewelry!! We have bought our wedding rings here, which are stunning! Also my husband had a custom name plate earring made that’s perfect, also a bracelet && just today (3/21/22) he bought both him && I gold rope chains that are gorgeous!!
