Today, 26 of June 2022 I visited CVS in Hammond. This CVS was clean and well arranged. It didn’t have many employees but the few that were there greeted you at the door when you entered and helped during the check out process hence my 5.0 rating. I did observe one particular gentleman who was Asian I think. He was also very welcoming and stood out. Great work cvs.

First time customer Had a prescription transferred here from another location over the phone. The machine said it should be ready in a few hours. Nearly a full day later, I go wait in the drive through to pick it up. It isn't ready. They say if I go inside and come to the counter, they can expedite it for me, about a 15 min wait. I go inside, wait some more, and ask for it to be expedited. They say it will be 10 or 15 more minutes, so I wait around some more, soon getting into the long "pick up" line as it looks like about that long of a wait. I get to the counter and they say 10 to 15 minutes, as they did about 15 minutes prior. I go out to my car, wait a while, go to White Castle, come back to CVS, eat my food, and then get in the very long drive through line as it should surely be ready by the time I get to the window. When I finally get there, they tell me they are out of my medication and can't fill the prescription at this time. I had been waiting well over an hour at this point. I'm sorry, but I'm never coming back here again!

I called this morning and the stores automated directory said the store was closed and opened at 12 PM and when I called before that and it said it opened at 11 AM. When I called at 12:20 something PM the stores automated directory said the pharmacy was closed. So which is it?? I'm just trying to get a hold of the pharmacy to know if a prescription is ready for pick up but I can't. I don't understand why it's telling me multiple different times and things. If the pharmacy is closed as it says then the hours shown on here need to be updated to reflect the correct hours.

Poor management. Nobody was attending the pharmacy counter, even tho they had like 8 employees if not more working back there, yet nobody wanted to take care of customers. Not to mention they have a horrible attitude.

In a rare time of need, my 1st lactose attack at 130 in the morning, 24 HR CVS came to my rescue. Thank you for remaining a considerate convenient company. I thought I was gonna die, y'all!!

Pharmacy is great, who ever is in charge of outside cleanup hasn't done their job in a long time. It's gross .

Horrible service and attitude. 25 minutes to pick up a prescription that was ready. I used Good RX and was told to go to the drop off window and had to wait in line again. Finally the same woman came back to me and filled out my RX again. After about 10 minutes pharmacist asks if she can help me. I told her I was here to pick up a RX. She than tells me it's ready for pick up and go to the other window. After waiting on everyone else she finally and very slowly, with attitude delivers my RX. I have transferred my RX's to another pharmacy. Long time customer have gone there for years. This location has really gone down hill.

Me and my husband were standing in line for about 15 minutes. My husband was looking at the cologne. He opened the box to smell it and spray it. Mind you, there’s no sample. This African American who appeared to be the manager starting yelling at him like he was going to steal it. We were on line buying other products. She started yelling very loudly that now she can’t sell it. If you are going to sell cologne or perfume there should be a sample. Are you going to buy it just looking at the pretty box? I would give it no stars but you can’t do so. I will be taking my business elsewhere because of this very rude person.

THE WOMAN PHARMACIST WORKING TODAY NEEDS TO BE FIRED !! Denying some one their last shot to be fully vaccinated because you're too lazy to do your job is PATHETIC AND CRUEL!! There was nobody I mean nobody else anywhere near the pharmacy nor was there anyone outside at the drive up window. I wasn't the person asking why they're told it's a walk in option and it's also advertised online as walk ins welcome and I cannot see too many physicians phoning in scripts at 10am Sunday morning?!! What I did see was this pharmacist get rude and offensive to a customer trying to be vaccinated because she's not up for giving a shot that takes 2 minutes. But, she was more interested in whatever was on her cellphone. HEY CVS NICE KNOWING YOUR PHARMACIST DENIED PEOPLE Vaccines NC they're more interested in personal play time on their phone!!!!

I really wish I could give 0 stars around midnight waited on hold for 30 mins to talk to a pharmacist . I eventually hung up and called back and the pharmacist answered . She stated she was with patients and I just couldn’t believe that many pts were there to get medicine at midnight When prior to that call when I was placed on hold her technician stated she stepped out for the restroom and should have been returning any minute. Please do better .
