I wish I could give a 0. He had my grandfather's chair for 6 months,every call I got the run around. My husband finally went to the shop, the chair had not been touched. 2 weeks later the chair was "finished". Everything I did NOT want done was! Everything I wanted done WASN'T!! Horrible new cushions, no refinishing done, antique springs stripped off, tag on bottom of chair GONE, which took value away. $625.00 was paid for this. I will never have him do anything again.

Mark Phenicie restored my grandfather‘s chair and made it completely beautiful again in a way that I couldn’t have imagined that it would look. His skill and his ideas brought new life to an old chair that was dearly loved.

This man had my barrel front secretary from 6/6/20 until 6/11/22! When I finally threatened to sue him to get it back, he literally replaced the hardware and felt and sprayed clear coat on it! He never stripped it down and there was absolutely no refinishing done at all! That was on top of calling me at midnight to scream and yell about politics and somehow blame that for his two-year lack of ambition! The worst excuse for a human I have ever met and certainly not worth the $625 I paid!

DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY TO DO ANYTHING. 5 months ago, Phenicie picked up a Dunbar coffee table for refinishing, and ONE minor repair to the veneer. They never did a thing to it in all the time they had it, and never gave any honest feedback on their progress. We periodically inquired about its status, and were always told it would be done in a week or two. We finally picked it up and brought it home - no charges were incurred, as they did nothing to it. Well, they did "nothing" in the way of repairs, but upon inspection we found four gouges in the veneer that were definitely NOT there when Phenicie took it. We considered taking it back and insisting they fix it, but what good would that do? They wouldn't do anything for 5 months, why would I trust them to do anything now?
