Have taken my vehicles here for about 25 years now. They are reasonable priced and willing to explain what needs done and why when asked. In a few cases the parts did NOT need replaced just cleaned off or greased up saving me money. They are very busy, (because they do good work), so make an appointment.

Awesome work! Lexus said i needed new front brake pads only for $462. Housers said they look brand new, with paint on both pads on rotors!!! They will outlast me!

I gave Houser a challenge with my Odyssey that wasn’t solved by the local dealership. An irritating, intermittent squeaking noise was driving me crazy. After a day of trouble-shooting Dave and the team replaced the axle shaft. Thanks for the perseverance! Very reasonable price and outstanding customer service.

Had them install a new engine in my truck, they did an excellent job at reasonable price. They were very upfront and honest about what did and did not need replaced while the truck was apart and came in right at the price quoted. Excellent business I will b back.

Well, I was in and out in one hour after calling on my way there with an alternator that was not working. The alternator was four years old with 130,000 miles on it and was replaced under warranty for $46 in labor. What else can I say. I am very pleased with their service. They never replace anything that doesn't need it. It's a good small town honest family owned business that knows everybody in town.

Always honest and helpful. I've taken my car to more convenient places and have had nothing but poor service and excessive prices. Houser has always been honest and up front with every visit. They work the problem and fix it. Can't ask for anything else. Services: Oil change, Steering & suspension repair

Houser's Automotive is the best auto shop around. It is family owned and run in Huntertown, IN. They schedule you and allow you to drop off the car and put keys in the drop box the night before your appointment. They fully explain what they see/hear when you ask them to look at something. They will always tell you the truth - and I especially appreciate them saying "it doesn't need to be replaced RIGHT NOW, it is fully safe to drive - just let us know if the noise comes back or gets worse". Its not an outrageous bill and unnecessary repairs every time like other auto shops. 5 out of 5 for sure!
