What a wonderful experience with the staff here. After purchasing new washer and dryer units, we had manufacturer issues. Jeff, the owner as well as Mike went above and beyond more than once, to help us make it right. I would highly recommend shopping here!!

We stopped in looking to find a freezer after multiple failed attempts at other local stores. We were greeted by Mike as we walked in and looked around. We came across what we were looking for and asked if we could purchase it. Come to find out the freezer would not arrive until February and we needed one within the week so Mike offered to sell us the floor model which was like new out of the box. We picked it up the next day and it’s been working perfectly. We were very pleased with our service and purchase at this hometown store. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

My dad went in to buy a lawn mower and the sales representative was super helpful in showing him the models and working with him on deals and specials to get the model he wanted in his price range. The mowers were priced similarly to those at big box stores and the service was exceptional. My dad drove the mower home (he doesn't live far) and noticed there was a clinking sound. He went back to the store and the workers were so helpful providing solutions for him. One even stopped by his house to make sure their suggestions worked for him. THANK YOU SEARS HOMETOWN!

I went to the fenton outlet for a new belt for my mower (which I purchased there several years ago). The salesman was very rude and looked like he had betteer things to do as I was trying to explain my problem. He then made me feel stupid when I gave him the mower model number instead of the product number. I will never purchase from there again.

Very disappointed with the service received at this location!! I call SEARS regarding an exchange on a Craftsman tool under warranty. I was told by SEARS that they could mail me out the replacement, or I could go to SEARS Hometown in Fenton and have it exchanged. When tried to make the exchange the OWNER said NO. I explained, that I had just spoken to SEARS customer service...He replied "they don't own the store, I do and the answer is still NO" . GOOD LUCK if you ever purchase anything from this location!!

I shop here often, the staff is always friendly. They offer a wide variety of products. I go particularly for their selection of craftsman products. Purchasing from the sears website for a buy online pick up in store purchase is always a quick trip. This is a locally owned business, support them!

I can't say enough GOOD things about this store!!! Sears was suppose to replace my washer after 3 weeks of getting the runaround, when I came into the store my sears voucher was 400.00 short of being able to replace my machine. The owner was not satisfied with the injustice that was trying to take place so he made a phone call on my behalf... 30 minutes later new and better machine replaced by sears!! thank-you JEFF!!! and Mark!!!

Needed a 10mm socket, walked into: Sears Hometown store in Fenton, and left with the socket and an awesome deal on a new refrigerator. Awesome owners, you don't feel like you're a bother to them. I love the Kenmore brand, and this independently owned store is just the BEST! I've purchased several things here and would not waste time going anywhere else. PS: We even get drastic discounts on Whirlpool items through our company, I still wouldn't go anywhere but here for appliances. I like the hometown feel, and I like dealing in person with real live people. This store is great the only problem with buying a new fridge is: Now my old stove and dishwasher need to be upgraded too. They still work fine, but this was such a great experience and the new fridge looks so awesome, I just feel the need to upgrade them too. I wouldn't think of going anyplace else. Oh, I nearly forgot about delivery WOW - C Boyd is the best (I may need to correct his name - I think it was Chris). He is FANTASTIC! I've never seen appliances moved so efficiently, he was in took the old fridge out, gave me time to clean underneath - YIPES! And, had the new one in, up and running in like zero time. It's his company (delivering for Sears and Ashley) and you can tell he takes pride in his work, he and his assistant were the best I've ever seen. What a great experience all the way around. I am a little late in posting this, but during the Christmas break we had an issue with a hot water heater we purchased through Sears. The staff and I even believe the owner of the store bent over backwards to help me and my family get a replacement as quickly as possible even though their store was not at fault for the issue we were having. I would highly recommend this store and its people as they definitely won me over. I honestly don't believe I would have received the kind of service I did had I gone to another Sears store. Just exceptional all the way around.

Wonderful customer service. I purchased a chainsaw used it once then when I wanted to use it a second time the chain would not move, 2 weeks old. I took old unit into store and they did an exchange with a new chainsaw (same model). I needed to use the chainsaw that day and the staff was easy to work with and quick, no hassle. I will be purchasing more items from there from now on.
