Gary and Lou-Anne were salt of the earth zero pressure sales people. If you’re looking for a low overhead new RV dealer with great staff like Kelly, one of their techs, this is the place! We drove almost 800 miles round trip from Chicago because Gary spoke as plain as anyone I ever heard. No Fees of any kind! The price in the ad is the price you pay. He even did his own research the day after my 1st call and said he lowered the price be because a competitor 60 miles away had one for $1000 less! Our local dealer, Camping World in Island Lake, Illinois was exactly $10,000 more for the same year make and model brand new, a 2022 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2608BS. Was it worth the drive? I’d say so! My wife and I drove up from Kansas City to buy a travel trailer from these guys and it was a great experience! Gary and Luanne were an absolute joy to work with. This is probably the most honest dealership of any kind that we have ever dealt with-- there was absolutely no pressure at all. It just so happened that they also had the lowest price that I could find in the entire country on the trailer we purchased. If you are looking for a travel trailer, you should do yourself a favor and visit Volkert Sales!

Gary, Luann, and Anthony were all so helpful to us as we chose and purchased our Geopro 19 FDS! We found them online while looking for this specific model. Their price was a bit higher than a place much farther away, but they were also willing to give us a decent value for our trade in—they didn’t even ask us what we owed on our trade before figuring a deal for us which tells me they are way more honest than a lot of places. They also were very patient with me as I asked a ton for questions before arriving to pick up our new camper and also when we got there. Anthony answered ALL of my questions very knowledgeably and thoroughly and kept his patience as I took up a ton of his time. He even helped my husband install our new sway bar/hitch without charging extra! We will always recommend the Volkerts to anyone who asks. They are truly “one of the good ones”! 😊

Gary was wonderful to work with - I live in Utah and found a camper at his dealership in Iowa online.
