This pharmacy does the best with the resources they have. They serve a very large population of customers. I get frustrated having to wait too but after watching the pharmacy techs and pharmacist, it’s not their fault. They can’t help that an inordinately high amount of people use this location and they do their best to cope. Thank you to everyone who does their best at this location.

If negative stars were an option… My children needed very basic prescriptions filled for an ear infection and a sinus infection. Since we went to urgent car in the evening on a Saturday, the pharmacy was not open by the time we were finished to drop off that night. So the next day (Sunday) I arrived and got in line by 9:50 with opening time at 10. When dropping off, the tech advised me the estimated time was about an hour. I know this was just an estimation so I gave them almost 3 hours… I arrived back in the store and waited in line for 30 min. Once I got up to the counter, I was told that they were still not ready. I let the tech know… my child’s earache is extreme and I really need this medication. If nothing else I NEED the ear drops. She said it would be done before the end of the day. I came back 3 hours later… an hour before closing and waited in line for an additional 30 minutes in the drive thru. After giving the tech the info for my children she told me that only one script was completed and they were OUT of ear drops. WHY were they not able to provide that info at drop off? My child had been in pain for two days while I drove back and forth for something that I could have gotten filled somewhere else. And YES I did call each time before arriving at the store to check status… the automated system would not pull up any scripts and when transferring to a tech NO ONE ANSWERED. I completely get that they may be under staffed but not checking something before giving estimated time is just stupid and a terrible practice.

I spent more time at the pharmacy than the Doctor's office. Called in advance. Was told they couldn't give a time frame on when my meds would be filled. Arrived 2 hours afterward, was told they had 3 of my meds. And my *Inhaler * I would have to get the next day? Ummm. No. So the cashier was kind enough to have me sit while I waited 20min for them to grab my Inhaler. ? Yeah. I won't be using this location again.

Horrible! They said prescription would be ready by noon. Get in drive thru at 1230 three cars back. It’s 1255 by the time I get to the window. They tell me my kids prescription isn’t ready and they’re closing for lunch. Go somewhere else.

They weren’t able to find my prescription and instead of helping me I was told to leave because they were closing in 10 minutes. I have a respiratory infection and need my antibiotics but it’s fine I guess

This place is out of control as far as HORRIBLE SLOW and inadequate service. You should see the freaking lines here!! No excuse for a corporation that has executive positions flying on private jets and making wealth to the extreme off your dime!

If a senior citizen living in Independence, KY, is looking for a new pharmacy, GO ELSEWHERE. We made the mistake of establishing a relationship with Kroger Pharmacy after moving here from Erlanger twenty years ago. At first they were okay; but they've gone down hill since. After years of putting up with periodic errors and the constant long waits in line, now apparently it's totally acceptable for pharmacy technicians to be rude and treat customers with distain. Attempts to reach management above the local level were blocked. So, the only thing left is to warn others and move on.

BEWARE using this pharmacy. My daughter was only given HALF of her prescription last Sunday. When I talked to them about it today Ashley the pharmacist blamed it on the techs not being educated and being able to read dosing info - EVEN THOUGH - I told them we always get 2 bottles and not 1 of the medication. YES - even a pharmacist double checked this. Now my daughter is so sick she can’t get off the couch. They apologized. And apology when a medication filled incorrectly can be DEADLY. But don’t worry - they said they would talk to the tech who released this! UNACCEPTABLE! I will be taking this up the chain. Seems like they are all uneducated.

This is the slowest Kroger pharmacy in the tri-state. You will be waiting forever. Not to mention the lady pharmacist at this location is not friendly at all. Older hag with long gray hair is extremely rude. I have never had a good experience with this pharmacy even before the plandemic. Good luck I hope you don't have anything planned. Give yourself 1-2 hours and hope they don't tell you that they are closed by the time it's your turn.
