If negative stars were an option…
My children needed very basic prescriptions filled for an ear infection and a sinus infection. Since we went to urgent car in the evening on a Saturday, the pharmacy was not open by the time we were finished to drop off that night. So the next day (Sunday) I arrived and got in line by 9:50 with opening time at 10. When dropping off, the tech advised me the estimated time was about an hour. I know this was just an estimation so I gave them almost 3 hours… I arrived back in the store and waited in line for 30 min. Once I got up to the counter, I was told that they were still not ready. I let the tech know… my child’s earache is extreme and I really need this medication. If nothing else I NEED the ear drops. She said it would be done before the end of the day. I came back 3 hours later… an hour before closing and waited in line for an additional 30 minutes in the drive thru. After giving the tech the info for my children she told me that only one script was completed and they were OUT of ear drops. WHY were they not able to provide that info at drop off? My child had been in pain for two days while I drove back and forth for something that I could have gotten filled somewhere else. And YES I did call each time before arriving at the store to check status… the automated system would not pull up any scripts and when transferring to a tech NO ONE ANSWERED. I completely get that they may be under staffed but not checking something before giving estimated time is just stupid and a terrible practice. ~Olivia
