11 Best gas station in Gilbert, Arizona (AZ) 2024

I would recommend going across the street to Safeway gas station / mini store. The card readers don’t work, fountain soda is empty and clerk doesn’t care ~Lonnie

I have been coming to this gas station for the past 2 years and Tipu is seriously the best person ever! Tipu always recommends great things and always has a great attitude and I swear I could talk to him for so long lol! Him and the other people who work at this location is the reason why I always go back. I would 100% recommend coming to this location and saying what’s up to tipu! 👍 ~Jacob

This place needs some help!! The customer service is always below average. The trash can are always overflowing , no receipts in the gas pump, shelves in the cooler are rarely stocked. I love having a gas station close to home but due to these problems I often choose to drive an extra mile for another place that give better service and does more upkeep on the establishment. ~Jordan

worst Convenience store around… Only reason I ever visit is because it’s the only one around. The staff is very unfriendly and unwilling to help along with the gas pumps always being out of order and or getting your card information ripped off. Worst place avoid ~Joe

Around 5:30PM*ish today I purchased The Works car wash. For reasons unbeknownst to me, and apparently the employees, it didn't work. All the automated car wash did was spit water on my car and then it told me to pull forward. I went inside the gas station and told the employee (female) what happened. She went to grab someone else (male). The guy met me at the car wash entrance, said he would make sure he stayed around to see the car wash worked fine. He didn't stay around. Like any regular human privileged to live in the USA, I know how to drive in these drive through car washes so there was no error on my part the first or second/last time. The second time around seemed promising. HOWEVER, after it rinsed, it just stopped. No red green yellow lights were on. No words flashing telling me what to do. **I was live streaming the entire time in 3 different parts throughout the first and second/last car wash. I have proof.** So, from the inside of my car still inside the car wash, I called the gas station. The same guy from earlier came and no resolution was found. Here were the options I told him and asked him about. I asked if I could have a refund. He told me he couldn't issue me a refund since the manager wasn't there, but I could return in the morning to request it from the manager. I told him no, there's no reason why I would want to waste more of my time and gas money when the refund could be taken care of *now.* I asked him if he could give me $7 himself, then tell the manager what happened in the morning, and have the manager reimburse him the $7. He said no. He told me several times that I could "just" go through the car wash again, THE CAR WASH THAT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME THE LAST TWO TIMES. He also said "well it worked for two other people" and I said "guess what? I'm not them. I'm also not doing anything wrong with my car or anything, I'm just sitting here expecting the system to work." I asked if he could give me credit for a Chevron car wash, but a different location. He said no. I drove off, and here I am, giving this gas station a one star rating. People, it is 2017. There should be ample ways of successfully resolving issues especially issues like this. Not impressed. Not returning to this Chevron. ~LRyfo

Prices are great, however the time it takes to get gas could be helped. It seems their system needs an upgrade. Lines are always long, so plenty of time to watch the people ahead of you. First the Sam's card, which takes forever to go through, then the credit card, that also takes longer than other gas stations. It seems like the gas takes long also to fill and I have a smaller tank. I watch older people struggle every single time. May be good to have someone actually helping (I usually see someone in the booth but never out helping people go quicker etc despite the lines) ~Vanessa

Not clean most of the fountain drinks not working. 6 broken out of 9 in photo is terrible. Just as many on the other side, but someone was using it so no photo ~Dan_E

Tried two different pumps and they refused to scan my Fry’s barcode on my phone that is accepted in the store. Pumps 14 and 8. I went to key in the member number but it began processing even before I completed entering the member number. Had to go up to the window and pay. That’s the reason for 5 star review you made me get my steps in. The cashier at the window is either unfamiliar with the system or you have a flaw in your system not allowing the pump to continue pumping until the car was full. We set $30 cause I couldn’t math fast enough in my head. The $30 didn’t fill up the car. Unfortunately this exhausted all my fuel points. ~Ryan

I’m here daily perfect for quick run not having to go into main store u get the fry’s price not gas station prices I stop for milk n cat food bananas couple times a week , staff is great amazing too ~Lilly

Hard to beat a savings on gas, especially with how expensive it is right now. We buy our groceries at Fry's anyway so why not. Plus, if you keep an eye out. They offer 4x fuel points on gift cards every once in a while. That means buy a $50 gift card and get 200pts or .20cents off per gallon. Stack that with groceries and we usually get a pretty good discount at the pump! ~Matt
