5 Best cafe in Mesa, Arizona (AZ) 2024

This is one of the best Barnes and Nobles that I've seen. It's so clean and well kept and the exterior design is gorgeous with a calming fountain. Inside, the layout is neat with books placed in an organized fashion. Also, they have a cafe and it's open late too- until 9 pm. The person working the cafe deserves a shout out because he made my visit to Barnes and Noble even better. He was friendly and welcoming, and had great customer service. Food and drinks were good. Really enjoyed my visit! ~A

All the employees are so sweet and the manager Alexis has always been really nice.. store always clean and all smiles even if they are having a bad day themselves. LOVE that they open at 3:30am now for us early risers! Thank you!!! ~Kelley

I'll preface this by saying that I'm not a person who will generally wait if there's a line out the door to be seated, but this time I did and it was well worth it. The people that you see outside are there because the register is right inside the door and they try to keep that area free of congestion, so they ask everyone waiting to do so outside the door. The wait was surprisingly short for the amount of people that were standing outside. We waited less than 10 minutes. Once inside, the food and service were both fantastic. Staff were friendly and attentive. I had the Southwest Breakfast burrito and it was HUGE. The red sauce on the burrito was particularly tasty. ~Jason

I got the opportunity to use my Panera gift card that was given to me by my sister-in-law. I didn't think that I was going to get to use it anytime soon. But I was on an outing with my housing specialist to look for housing and we needed to stop for lunch. So I suggest the Panera because I had the gift card. It was a perfect idea. I was able to get a half sandwich and soup for just about $10 and I added a zucchini nut muffin for dessert bringing it to just under $15. Which was just exactly what was on my gift card. Talk about providence. My lunch was absolutely lovely, and since I carry a cane I was going to have difficulty getting my lunch to my table. But the Panera staff were gracious enough to carry my tray to the table for me so I did not have to try to balance the tray by myself. So thank you for that. The food was delicious, the service was divine and it was a very lovely atmosphere. Features: All staff were masked properly. ~Candace
