Best auto repair shop in Arroyo Grande, California (CA) 2024

I had my cigarette lighter go out, which was very important to me for various reasons. I went to other mechanic shops and was treated rudely, given vague time frames on when to expect my car to be fixed, and given all kinds of "diagnostic charges" upwards of over 100 dollars just to see what the problem is. I went here and spoke with Jon. He addressed my concerns there on the spot, checked my wiring, and actually advised an alternative and much cheaper solution going to a regular auto store. He didn't charge me a dime to do anything, he was concise and too the point, and his customer service was a breath of fresh air. I can't say enough good things about him. Yeah, getting to this shop is tricky, but WELL WORTH IT. ~Ernest

I stumpled upon Efi's shop last year after I was fed up with a shop I have used far too long in A.G. Village area. He saved me a great deal on that particular service and I have been returning ever since from smog to brakes to catalytic. I will not be a customer to anyone but Efi's. Once you realize his location just south of Cal/Fire station by the refinery on Hwy1 he is easy to locate. Also, his shop is spotlessly clean and he now has a waiting area in the smog office. Good Job Efi's and his staff. ~richard
