8 Best gas station in Chula Vista, California (CA) 2024

This Shell station does fantastic mechanical wrk and at very reasonable pricing. I just had them in August check air conditioning in our 2013 Nissan Altima. They charged and had it cooling after that. Lo and behold the aircon crashed once again while we were traveling to San Fran. Took me a month plus to get the car back to them and for their further evaluation showed the compressor to be the villain. Two days later the car was as good as new and cooling as quickly and as well as anyone could as. Price: minus the amount I’d payed the first visit (which they deducted from this bill) I paid less than half of what my dealer quoted me!!! These folks have done work for me before and I was just as satisfied! They care about the job they do for you and are always there if you need further help. The mechanics are knowledgeable and I would trust them to fix any mechanical or safety issue any time!!!! 5 stars without hesitation! Charles Gregory, Eastlake Greens. ~charlie

This is the absolute most inconsiderate gas station I’ve ever come across. They have a speaker on the side of the building that faces the hotel next door that we were staying at. This speaker blasts music ALL NIGHT LONG. Second night at the hotel and we had to walk over and inform them that about it. The cashier was SHOCKED and apologized and turned it off. This was at 3 am. Promptly at shift change the music was turned back on. Bright and early Sunday morning. Really great. ~Lana

I needed propane gas and it was 7:30pm😱 I was going to drive 3 miles to were I knew that they would be open. When I saw the tank of propane 🤩 I stopped there was a young petit lady and she was so nice and fast. She told me that it was her second motorhome, she was a bit nervous but she fill the tank like a pro. I will be going there more often. ~Aprendiendo

“No mask, no service” said the cashier. I tried to buy their face mask and I was 99 cents short. He wouldn’t take my $40 for gas, saying he wouldn’t give me gas unless I had a mask on - tried to buy one & no mercy and no negotiations. Seriously? Leave a potential customer without gas? Will not be coming back here & will let friends and family know. ~Diana

Terrible customer service! Tried to sell me BAD EXPIRED vapes and threatened to call the cops when I told him I didn’t want to buy them. I said I needed to get my phone and He proceeded to follow me outside taking pictures of me. And I walked inside to tell him to call the cops. He didn’t. And I TRIED to explain you CANT sell EXPIRED ANYTHING to customers. He didn’t care. Anyway, they pretend to be nice until you want to point something out. Never going back. ~Skye

Visited this store 3 times. Friendly staff, place clean and organized. And they had my favorite ale - VooDoo Ranger Imperial IPA. I did ask the guy if they had the cheapest gas around and he said yes with certainly. So I filled up ($100 for fill up on my Toyota Sienna). After leaving it seemed they were about $.05 higher than other stations nearby hence the 4 not 5 stars. ~Bill

May I suggest that the car wash lunch break be changed to an hour earlier so that when customers go for a car wash at noon…that there is enough staff during that lunch break hour. Or perhaps ensure there is enough staff at noon for car washes. I think it would improve customer relationship. Thank you ~Felipe

Lines might look long but the wait time is pretty reasonable. Best time to gas up is early am, no wait time. The hoses are extra long but some customers still wait for the pump on their side of gas tank which makes the line time a little bit longer. Staff is pretty friendly, helpful with good customer service! 👍 As of 3/12/22 gas prices have been raising like crazy every day. Price was $5.30 yesterday and today it's $5.48 for regular. Help! ~Ruby
