Best truck rental agency in Fairfield, California (CA) 2024

Great experience here although it was short due to being able to move our stuff into our new home sooner. Jamie, the property manager, was very personable and helpful with any issues I had including getting our account closed on short notice. We would definitely use Central Storage again! Overall experience renting a truck with Budget Truck Rental Fairfield was great. I originally had to pick up my 16' moving truck at 11:30 AM and called to move my pick up time to 4 PM. Alfred let me know that in addition to moving my pick up time, I could also pick up my moving truck first and come back for my car bed the day after so that it wasn't in the way when I packed the truck. When I went to pick up my truck later that day, both representatives were kind and even encouraged me to call my insurance just to insure my car would be covered if I were to get into a collision (this was cause I declined the insurance they offer). The reps even assisted me with my questions about how to operate the truck, such as how how to open and lock the back truck door and ensuring my mirrors were correct. I ended up calling the next day to cancel the car bed that I originally purchased as I had a change in plans. Alfred was very kind over the phone and let me know there would be a 50% cancelation fee for the car bed. He's since taken care of that cancellation and understood my and my families reasoning for having a second driver drive my personal car. (I have never driven anything bigger than a Tahoe and after getting the moving truck I realized driving with my car attached to the truck would be a lot more difficult than I originally thought.) I don't normally leave reviews but my whole move has caused me much stress. I am glad Budget Truck Rental in Fairfield did not add to that stress. ~Quinn
