Best seafood restaurant in Long Beach, California (CA) 2024

I love the food, the staff are always polite (a rare thing for Popeye's), but they pull some shady shenanigans with their inventory, and it's infuriating. It's been like a month since they've had Cajun Sparkle, and it doesn't look like they're getting any more. And if you get mac and cheese, check your order before you go, because they put like a tablespoon worth in there. Doesn't even fill the bottom of their small containers (see pic). Again, never had a problem with the quality of the food, and all the people who've served the food have been top notch. But management has got to go. ~JB

Eh, I’ve been coming here for a bit and it was good at first but as I keep coming, for some reason the bad reviews live to their expectations. Last time I ordered online around lunch time and they canceled my order (understandable maybe they were busy). Anyways, I came one last time to give it another go and when I was eating my food it was completely drenched in the dressing. MAYBE get the dressings on the side or tell them lightly🤷🏻‍♀️ ?? The pictures are literally all the dressing I got in one SMALL bowl. I literally would chew my food and spit out the extra dressing! It was just not enjoyable. Also the drinks are SUPER SWEET 🤢 I kept adding water ~Karla

Just landed at LAX and a drive to Long Beach. We were hangry and needed something decent. Boy we made out pretty good. We both had the fried fish and shrimp plates and shared a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. I had a beer and my wife started a bottle of wine. Our bill was about $80. You can certainly go less expensive with no soup and soda. Let's start with the Chowder. We live in New England, this chowder matched or beat most New England locations. The fish and shrimp were great. Lighted battered and not too greasy. All around you can't go wrong. ~Christian
