Best clothing store in Newport Beach, California (CA) 2024

Athleta sports clothes are great. The materials are soft and not too hot. The leggings have larger pockets to hold all sizes of phones. The ones that work best for me are the joggers with the cuff on the bottom. They stay down and I don’t have to have it hemmed. The shirts, shorts and other clothing are also fashionable and very soft and silky. The staff is very helpful to guiding you around the store and helping you at the dressing room. There’s lots of competition in sports clothes. These are my favorite. See you soon at pickleball, yoga or running. ~A

We were so excited to rent bikes for 4 hours for a great price. We had made our reservation and paid for it early. I knew there would be some kind of deposit to be held for the duration of the rental. It was not posted anywhere on the website or the agreement that the amount would be $700. I expect this on a car rental not a bike rental. There was no mention anywhere until we had signed the waivers and the attendant at the store told us the amount would be $700. Needless to say we canceled the reservation, it was not worth the hassle and we also did not have that amount to cover for a few hours. The only plus side is that I did get my full rental amount refunded. ~Tanni

Never in all the years of shopping at this location have I been mistreated. Calling to complain to higher up! This needs to be addressed!!!! The manager is Julie, went in to order some clothes in my size from another store like I usually do cause they don’t always have a Large or XL in stock. Anyways she was so rude to me and to other customers. Also cruel to this sweet employee helping me in the beginning. Never in my life seen this behavior at a clothing store. By the way she took down her mask when she was talking to me at the register in front of two other customers felt for my safety. This is COVID already uneasy shopping without a mask want to feel safe shopping. Saw other people complain on reviews and I understand why. This is a issue and it’s disgusting to me if Splendid keeps this women working with customers, feel horrible for employees that have to work with her. ~Christine
