I would give the gym 1 star if not for the great people that work there. Not the owners who don’t even live in town, they live 10,000 miles away in Australia. The gym is in bad need of an upgrade, the equipment has been the same for years. I had been a loyal member even supporting the gym during Covid but when I complained about the state of the gym - bathroom out of service for a month, broken monitors, same barbells - “Matt the Owner” terminated my membership. Rather than address my concerns as a member, this absentee owner decided his best course of action was to fire me. I would be very very careful in joining this location or the one in Newport. If the owner behaves like this when confronted with legitimate complaints, it’s clear they have no intention of bringing it up to F45 standards. I will share my experience with F45 corporate so they are aware of how one of their franchisees handles business - a franchisee that “operates” the gym from Australia. They say that they were SoCal for 6 weeks but I know for a fact - because I’m friends with the trainers - they visited their locations a grand total of 2 times. Be forewarned. ~jonathan
